Today, I am going to share a post about Splinterlands. I will explain how I earned Merit tokens as rewards by participating in guild play and how I used those Merits to purchase Gladius cards. I will also detail my reasons for doing this. Furthermore, I will discuss the cards I acquired and how they will be useful to me. Merit tokens are a specific currency within Splinterlands; I used them to buy Gladius cases, and I will explain what that entails.
Today, I pulled a gold card from one of the Gladius packs. This card is very important—I have mentioned it in previous posts. The card is named "Witch of Warwick." It features a magic attack and possesses the "Bloodlust" ability, which causes the card's stats to change every round. I plan to buy more packs, collect these cards, and level them up. The benefit of leveling up is that I will win more battles, leading to higher earnings of SPS and Merit tokens. Using these cards effectively in standard battles helps secure victories; currently, I am playing Splinterlands Wild. This allows me to improve my rank and earn SPS tokens and Glint. I can use Glint to purchase Legendary cards, which I can then sell on the market. However, I cannot sell Gladius cards on the market.
I spent a total of 20,000 Merit tokens today and received 10 Gladius packs. Upon opening them, I obtained rare and gold cards; I have shared an image of the gold card in this post. As you can see, the card is incredibly powerful and possesses impressive abilities. I plan to collect more of these cards to level them up and further strengthen my team. Although I still have Merit points remaining, I won't be buying more Gladius packs right now—I plan to purchase more later on. I have managed to earn quite well recently by participating in guild activities. If you also have a card collection, I recommend using it; you could achieve great earnings too.
