The season ended yesterday. Today, I purchased a pass to play battles in the Wild format; since the pass costs 2,000 DEC, I transferred DEC tokens from Hive-Engine into the game to make the purchase. I started the day with a rating of 800, but after playing several matches, I have reached a rating of 1,000. At this rating, I earned a daily battle reward, which I am going to share with you here. Although I lost a few matches today, I won the majority of them, making me eligible for this reward. I received 56 Merit tokens and a Common Neutral card. I really like this card; while it isn't very powerful at levels 2 or 3, it becomes significantly stronger as it levels up, and its ranged attack power increases as well. I will provide more details about this card in a future post.
The card I am telling you about here is called "Oshannus Unmade." Its most notable feature is a speed of 5, which makes it very powerful. While it has a ranged attack power of 2 up to Level 7, at Level 8, this increases to 3, alongside 6 health and a speed of 5. What truly sets it apart is its mana cost of 6. Additionally, at Level 8, it gains the "Lookout" ability, making it exceptionally strong.
Lookout is a defensive ability that provides extra protection to the allies positioned next to the card possessing it. If an enemy attacks using abilities like Sneak, Snipe, or Opportunity the allies adjacent to the Lookout card take 1 less damage. Additionally if an enemy uses the Ambush ability the damage dealt is reduced by 50%. This means the ability significantly safeguards nearby team members against special attacks targeting the backline or vulnerable units.
