WE83- TOPIC 6- THE FIRST TIME I MET MY CURRENT PARTNER.

Hi all my lovely friends in THE WEEKEND COMMUNITY!
When I read through this week's topics, I felt compelled to share a variety of thoughts; thank @galenkp for creating a wonderful forum for everybody. This week, I am very excited to share about topic 6 " Tell us about the first time you met your current partner - Where did you meet, was it a set up date or happenstance and was it instant attraction or did it rise slowly like the incoming tide? ".

How did we get to know each other?

You can meet your partner anywhere or through an introduction,but my current partner and I met on Facebook in December 2015.
He is a devout Catholic who adores Marie. So he typed Marie into the search bar, but when my name Matta Ly appeared in the search results by accident, he saw my avatar and he decided to send me a friend request and text me. I don't want to make social media friends with strangers because I don't trust them. Although I was initially unimpressed, but when I saw his resume as a Catholic, I accepted his friend request and replied to his messages. I only talk to him briefly, but he is persistent in finding topics to discuss with me whenever he has free time. A week later, he asked to meet me, and I agreed to our first meeting.

How was our first meeting?

• He worked 60 kilometers away from where I lived, and because he didn't know how to got there, he decided to take a bus to the bus station and asked me to pick him up. When we first met, my first impression was that he was small and unattractive. However, according to his story, when he first met me, he was fallen in love with me.

• When people first meet, they will go to a restaurant, a coffee shop, or a park, for example. However, the location I selected is a large supermarket near where I live. We walked and discussed through all three floors of the supermarket and bought nothing. I do still not understand why I chose this location at that time 😊.

• Do you know where we had lunch?

We decided to have a light lunch at a small fast food outlet in the supermarket after walking around for 3 hours. Lunch was a dumpling and a bottle of mineral water. I never forgot that meal, not because we didn't have money and had to go on such a simple lunch, our income was quite good at that time. But the problem was that I didn't want to date him, I want to finish the meal quickly and get him to the bus stop so he can get to his house on time. Despite the fact that he wanted to stay and talk to me a lot, I was uninterested. Now that I think about it, I realize how heartless I am.

Our emotional development.

• After that first meeting, he talked to me more frequently and, despite the long distance, rode his motorcycle to visit me regularly, regardless of time or weather. I was captivated by his enthusiasm, and we began dating after a month.

• We married after a year of getting to know each other. My love for him has grown gradually over time, rather than in a flash, and I have no regrets about trusting and choosing him as my husband. He is a gentle, hardworking, and considerate towards me.

• We traveled together after getting married.

• We worked hard to save and buy a house. After a year, we purchased our own small house and a truck.

• Our first child, a daughter, was born on June 25, 2019, and she is now two and a half years old. Our family is always full of joy and laughter.

I don't have any lofty goals, all I want is for the people I care about to be safe and happy.
