If You Could Start Over, Where Would You Study?

School is an everyday thing now. Everyone is literally in school now, from the youngest child to the oldest adult you know. Now, we have finally seen the importance of education in our world today and every parent is making it a point to take their wards to school. Speaking of school, we have all been through the educational system in one way or the other. However, we are all different in many ways.
I’ve met people with the highest level of education and when I compare the knowledge gap, I know I’m very far away from them. Personally, I believe that in education, the foundation matters most. I was enrolled into the best daycare in my community, same as pre school and primary. The additional ones like high school and the rest were just a plus for me. I went to a public senior high school like many others in my country , Ghana. And senior high school was really an eye opener for me.
I was with people my age, but our educational backgrounds set us apart. Some people couldn’t even speak basic English and that was just the start. The seriousness level varied as well as every other thing. You could clearly tell the difference between those who had a private school background and those who had a private school background. I actually loved that I got to attend a public senior high school because I needed the experience, but I didn’t really change much about.
I equally attended a public university which was one of the best in my country, but if I had things my way, I’d probably be in Harvard or some top tier university across the globe with the best of educational structure. I love my university but I education I had there wasn’t as I expected. We didn’t really have much infrastructure which made me have to resort to other institutions and organizations for the experience. However, I turned out good because we had the best of tutors. Aside these reason, I wouldn’t change my university for any reason.

And with my preschool and basic schooling, I had the best of training and experience and I wouldn’t change that for anything. At the end of the day, the school you go to matters when it comes to your background and your starting point. This isn’t to say that anyone who goes to a public school turns out bad or anyone who goes to a private school comes out as the best. What matters is the quality of education. Aside education, we meet a lot of people in school and we also learn a lot of things. I believe the kind of school you attend gives you either a good experience or a bad one and even the kinds of friends you make are also affected by the school you attend. I understand that someone may say I may be wrong but that’s what I have seen from my experience. This topic however is a subjective one.
all images belong to me.

Honestly,.if I were to change my school I will but I will not. Yes, lot of things has changed unlike when girls are deprived from going to school
Well said!
