Looking Back, Looking Ahead: 2026

If you’d agree with me, it’s more than obvious now that we are growing that the days move by so fast . You are awake and getting about your day and the next thing you know, the day has ended and you’re getting ready to go to bed, that’s if you even get that time to sleep.

Adulthood isn’t as easy as they made it look. At this point, we need to give every adult a medal because I genuinely don’t know how they do it. People will have a million and one problems yet act like everything is okay. How people manage to act normal when their world is falling apart still baffles me and that alone makes me understand that adulthood isn’t joke.

2026 has been one of the years I have been very hyped up about. We all started the year hoping for the best. I for one started the year with a lot of hopes because the previous year was a very tough one for myself and my family. But thanks to God for life, all we could do was hope and pray the new year gives us the best.

The new year did have a great start. Everything was going smoothly and a lot better until I got involved in an accident. I could have lost my life but God did it for me once again. It was a tough time for me and everyone around me but then again, we hoped for the best and as we speak now, I’m well and in full health. This alone has changed my thoughts about life entirely.

Now, I see life in a different view because life is really fickle. Today, we are here and tomorrow we are no more. And you know the worst part, everyone goes about their days like you never existed after some time. That is life for you. Since regaining my strength and getting back to my normal life, a lot of things have changed for me.

I have learnt to live my life to the fullest and enjoy it as much as I can. I no longer worry myself about things that don’t concern me and honestly, the glow is more evident now. Life is as simple as it gets. No need to stress yourself over anyone.

As we find ourselves in the last quarter of 2026, I aim to make the best out of it. I look forward to achieving the remainder of my goals for years and then some more. Aside this, I aim to enjoy and live my life as much as I can because you never know what could come next. Make good use of the opportunities that present themselves and be as happy as I can as the year comes to an end.

Also, I look forward to spending more time with my family and friends as we have all been busy all year round. So with the little time that I have, i will make sure to make time for my loved ones.
