My hive business card design

Hello to everyone. This is my entry to the contest organized @acidyo. This is a contest where we have to design a business card for the Hive Philippines community. After seeing several beautiful and creative designs, I am presenting my design as well.

For this design I am using Canva design. After much deliberations and not knowing what to do, here’s the final look of my design.

For the front look of my hive business card, I picked a white color for the background.

I then divided the page into 2 unequal parts where I painted a portion of the left hand side red and left the right hand side white.

I selected a picture frame next and inserted my hive image.

With qr.io, I made a QR code for hive blog . The idea is to help a new user directly scan and be directed to the sign up page so this is what I did. I made the QR code and if you can it, you’ll be directed to a page for you to create a hive account.

I then selected the text bar and wrote hive blog at the right hand side. This is for newbies for have no knowledge what the card is about. That way you know the card belongs to someone who uses hive blog or you can at least search what a hive blog is.

Now for the back of the card, I went with the general look as I did for the front page. A picture frame and a white background.

However, this time there is no red color but just the hive picture on the right hand side.

The QR code is at the left which you can use to directly navigate the hive Philippines community.

I typed join hive Philippines under the QR code.

So, this is how my hive business card turned out. I know it’s not much but I did my best. Hope you like it.
