The Impact of Hive In a Cryptocurrency-Doubting World

I hope you having a good day. It’s another week to make a change and I hope you have a good week.
For this weeks contest we have a number of interesting topics to share our views on. I must say, it was hard for me to pick a topic because I had a lot to share about all three topics. After so many hours of deciding I settled on this.

Making A Great Difference With Hive:
Do you believe that Hive has the potential to make a great difference in a world where there is a prevalent sense of fear, uncertainty, and doubt surrounding cryptocurrencies?

In todays world, everyone is out there looking for money by whatever means possible. I for one didn’t know much about cryptocurrency before I was introduced to hive. I always had thing idea about cryptocurrency being a scam and all of that because I had heard a lot of stories about people being scammed and I have also seen my friends getting scammed. It took a whole lot of convincing for me to even sign up on hive but now that I am here and I have come to understand a lot, my perception about cryptocurrencies and the blockchain have changed.

Hive blockchain has a lot of potential to make a great difference in the world and it’s already happening. With the number of people joining hive and those already here, this blockchain has a very large population and I know that everyone here wants to make a change in one way or the other.

Let’s look at some impacts of hive on the world

Hive has impacted lives
Personally, hive has impacted my life positively and I’m not even going to lie about it. Aside learning something new and fascinating everyday, I always look forward to a new day because of hive. Before, I was just wasting my time on social media doing nothing profitable for most part of the day. Sometimes I would be idle all day because I don’t really have much to do. Today, I can’t go a day without worrying about what’s going on on the blockchain, finishing a task, sharing my thoughts on a contest or reading more about something new that can help me better my life in one way ot the other. I think I like the life I am living now and everything totally makes sense to me now. I’m sure most people would say the same thing about hive. Hive has kept them busy and that’s a positive thing because the devil finds work for the idle.😅

Moving on from personal impact, Hive has impacted the lives of children and the youth at large. This ecosystem has some amazing projects which are targeted at helping those in need and making lives better for them. Some of these projects also aim to encourage our young ones in school. Let’s take for example the hive Ghana borehole project. This project targets people in rural areas. Not everyone in our part of the world enjoys the luxury of drinking clean water but the #Hiveghana borehole project has changed the lives of many who find themselves in rural areas in Ghana. This is the impact of hive.

Hive has improved lives
I’ve read a lot of posts about how hive has helped a number of people when it comes to their finances. Imagine having nothing to do and no source of income and you magically come across hive blockchain. I mean that is a chance for you to better your life and that’s the story for most of us here. Hive has given us a source of income and something worth doing. Some people use their payouts to solve some issues they wouldn’t have had money for before. Most people are struggling in the era where making money is very difficult and the little they make on hive saves them a lot. Being a student, hive has helped me take care of some financial issues on campus without having to call home and I’m really happy about that.

Hive blockchain encourages us to investment
Before most of us joined the blockchain we didn’t care much about investing. All we really cared about was surviving but joining hive has taught us a lot. On hive, you are encouraged to invest the little or more you have because of the future. Sometimes we find ourselves with some amount of money sitting there with no use and I bet before joining hive we would have used it for something else but today, there’s no need to keep money sitting there when you can invest in tokens and the likes.
