Essence orbs on the rise...??

This is all part of the latest #Splinterlands update.
Collector titles which is something that i can fully get behind.
What is the point of having collectible cards if people aren't trying to collect full sets and show them off.

I see a lot of pokemon videos on Instagram and all of them have people going around with their binders trying o master set something and trading cards to get up to the higher tiers of collectibles.

It's a great market for splinterlands to tap into. Just look at what they have set out to do here.

🔥 Open your binders. Set your sights. The hunt begins Tuesday!

I'm not too far away on the orbs set just from my old cards. I only need the three legendary cards to complete the set but they are pricey at the moment. It will cost me over $60 just for the three base level cards I need but who knows. I might be tempted to do it.

In the meantime I've been adding a few orbs to my wallet as they are in scarce supply and if this idea takes off then they could become a lot more valuable down the line.

The other thing that all those pokemon videos had in common was the pack values are where the profits are with older packs going for crazy money as the individual cards rise. Driven up by people trying to pull big cards and win the pokemon lottery.

I'm hoping for similar here as the market is very tight on orbs.

There is only 255 listed for sale and the prices fac a steep rise after the market buys out the lowest sell order.

I've just bought six for the moment but I'll try to get a few more under a fiver before they run out. I've seen about 50 packs move in just the past day as other people are obviously trying to master set the orbs as well.

I would also like to open a couple of the packs and try to complete the collection myself as well.

There are seven other collections to work on for now but only one that I'm interested in and presumably more to come in the future with more rewards and incentives.

A great idea though and one that should shake up the wild market as a new use case.
