It takes balls to stay the course.

It's not easy to sit through the ups and downs of any project.
There is a reason that so many businesses fail in their first few years. That so many ideas never become reality. It takes a different kind of conviction to be successful.

J.K. Rowling's original synopsis of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" was on display at the British Library earlier in 2018. The pages were part of the exhibition "Harry Potter: A History of Magic," The synopsis was typed by Rowling in 1995 "to accompany the opening chapters and circulated among prospective publishers," according to a plaque that accompanies the synopsis. The novel was rejected by 12 different publishing houses before Bloomsbury accepted it.

That's conviction right there. Years and years of rejection to become the most famous author of our time and most successful author. It takes a special kind of person to keep fighting when life is stacked against you.

It's the fight that most people aren't willing follow all the way to the end of the line. They try and if it doesn't work then give up and move onto other goals. It's easier that way.

Cristiano Ronaldo grew up in a household that was barely getting by. As a child, he had to share a room with three of his siblings due to their meager financial situation. There were even times where they didn’t have enough money to buy a soccer ball just so he could play in the streets. He would find ways to play the sport he loved even without the ball. He would use bottles, rags, or pretty much anything he could find to make a makeshift ball just so he could play.
Eventually, Cristiano would get so good at soccer, that he would have to make the ultimate sacrifice at the age of 11 to move over 500 miles away from his family to train with a prestigious soccer academy. By doing so, he put himself on track to eventually become on of the best players in history.

Looking at the stats says it all. At any time there are up to 12000 players in the club youth soccer system. 3500 in the premier league. They can enter these academies from nine years of age all with the same dreams and goals of becoming a pro.

How many get there. 0.5% of them will become pros. That's a very small percentage of those young lads who entered the arena at nine years of age. So what separates the 0.5% from the other 99.5% that never make it.

I can't define it exactly but the mentality is different in these boys. Most of them have the same ability when they start. They get the same training and help but some of them commit fully to their future and give it everything.

It's the same with crypto projects that take years of hard work to gain any traction. Especially when you see so many other worse projects mooning when you know that hive is better than all of them.

It's been years and we have never gotten any mainstream attention or huge moon in price. Will we ever see it? I can't say for sure but i will stay the course regardless. It's still the best chain in crypto and offer so much more than higher priced counterparts. It's just not sexy enough.

People have come and gone. Projects have come and gone.
Rejection after rejection.

Just like the examples above.
And yet we are still here, still grinding still innovating.

What does that indicate?
It gives me enough hope to keep putting in my time and effort to stack more tokens.

That's exactly how I feel sometimes, I'm not the guy that posts about price and expectations, I just focus on my topic that's tv series and movies but there are times when I cant be active like this past weekend and that piss me off because I know how important it is to remain active but I won't denied sometimes I think about Hive price and ask myself why doesn't go up 🤷 but I'm a positive guy and remember how much progress I have made in less than a year already seen a good amount of Hive and LEO generated from creating content and that gives me that extra pus to keep going, takes dedication, time and mental strength to not be discouraged by price stagnation, let's keep pushing, the time will come ✌️💪🤑

It takes a kind of stubbornness too. The kind that motivates you more and more with every rejection, knowing or feeling you are on the right track.
