The only thing that has changed is your paper value.

Differentiate between price and value.

This will be my third bear market and like anything else in life presents huge opportunities to people willing to take a little risk.

It can be scary and definitely painful but the only thing that has changed is your paper value. What you can cash out in dollars compared to how many assets you hold.

It's not unique to crypto but it's a lot more volatile since we are still early days.

For me the most important thing is to have my funds in projects that i believe will ride out this rough patch and come back even stronger.

There is only one set of numbers that I will be focusing on for the next few months and that is my hive power and leo power.

It doesn't matter what the fiat value on them is, it only matters that they keep growing in size.

We saw $3 Hive at one stage of the bull run and if we make it to the next bull run will hopefully see it again and even more. That is why it's important to keep working the rough the bear market and take advantage of others fear.

There will be a lot of people that fade away when the prices drop but it's their loss.

It happens every time and every time when they do reappear it's to find that the people who stayed have grown and thrived during the bear market while they are still in the same place years later.

My goals and motivation haven't changed regardless of the markets.

This is the time to get even more active.

Buy when other are fearful and sell when they get greedy.

Well, people are definitely fearful this week. We haven't seen a bloodbath like this in a long long time.

Luckily all of us here on hive have plenty to do and rewards to earn.

Sure, they aren't worth as much in the market but it's a hell of a good time to increase your stake.

It will be interesting to see how many people do stay active this time around as i think that we have a far more mature and knowledgeable community than we have had in the past.

It's a time for building and growth which i expect to see a few veteran projects take full advantage off as lots of other shiny ones fall away when the hype is gone.

Paper value might have gone down but if you are thinking long term then projects like hive, leo and splinterlands are where i want to have my money in the tough times.

Projects that have a history of survival and that will multiply my accounts while the markets are down.

The majority of crypto people know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

That's why i like it here with the hive OG's.

People who know that the price is only a tiny part of the system and not the most important thing.

I know it's "bad" but I'm so focused on hive/leo that I don't even care. My new obsession is @risingstargame . I worry about that game because not a lot of players but I think it will come through and out the other side. A lot of projects will fail but the money value doesn't bother me at the moment. It is a little surprising to see my btc worth though.

The prices will recover over time so long as the project survives. This part though relies on people doing research and I agree that it is the time to build your position.
