Thinking of the future.
I don't want to spend my life working.
At least not working in the traditional sense.
The more that I think about it, the more that I know it's true.
With the crypto markets tanking over the past few weeks there are a lot of people who though that they were set for the high life now scrambling around trying to get back to work and get some money flowing again.
It's a crazy place to operate and we have all seen the high's and lows involved in this space.
You can go from nothing to millionaire and back again in a few months. We all hope for the first one, most people get the other one.
I still believe that i'll be in the first one but that could just be blind optimism rather than premonition.
It's all tied to the success of hive and it's related products for me. If Hive moons and holds a high price then i'll be set for life.
If it crashes then it takes everything with it and the money is all gone.
So where does that leave me?
Scrambling in the dirt again trying to pay the bills.
I don't need much in this life to be happy but there are a few things that need to be covered.
A house, wedding, car, kids and living expenses. After those are looked after it wouldn't take much to keep me afloat so the line is quite low in a few ears time.
The trick now is getting that far on what i can earn in that time and be able to keep building my stack for the future.
It's been a good run.
And it's not over yet but to get the big mortgage and not sink i'll probably need a real job again before the year is out.
They like silly pieces of paper like proof of employment and wage slips. Things like that that splinterlands doesn't cover as a source of income.
So the plan for now is to build up a good war chest.
Get back into the job market when the time is right and get these few big expenses over with.
Then I can get back to living the dream and working my own hours on Hive.
The only problem is where to get a job again. I'm not in any rush and it won't be until long after the summer is over if even this year but the job market sucks.
The pay is shit, the options are limited and they all sound terrible.
We have been spoiled with the past year on hive and the opportunities it offers.
I'll have to start begging khal or aggroed for 100k a year to run errands for them and earn my keep.
The more that I look, the less that i want to keep looking.
There are lots of jobs out there an it would be easy to get hired in the morning but nothing worth applying for. Thankfully it's a long way away and more curiosity than anything for the moment.
But to get to the place that i am hoping to then there needs to be a plan and keeping an eye out for a good job or for the next house is always smart.
The plan is there so it's just a matter of waiting for the right steps to take that will get me there.

It will happen but not right now. I am a firm believer what we have here is unique and will pay off big time. I am looking at moving countries so I need more ammo for my war chest. Nothing much changes as the plan remains the same and to eventually reach the status of never having to work another day if I so choose. That is highly unlikely as I enjoy staying busy and new challenges.
The plan never changes. Build up enough to live passively and have that financial freedom to do your own thing.
Where would you move to?
That's going to be a big step in your life moving now.
I do think hive will be the key part in all of this and everything from the past couple of years is pointing at further growth and adoption if the pieces come together properly.
It's just slow watching it in real time but it was the same for every success story in the old tech system where years of development slowly led to adoption and growth.

Have two business opportunities and totally different. One in Amsterdam and one in the UK. I also would like to replicate my manufacturing plant over in Europe or team up with a manufacturer. Nothing is easy and this is a big move.

I agree with you so much my friend. You don't know how much, I have been haunting those thoughts these last months.
I almost feel like I wrote this myself, so thank you for putting it on the screen and being able to read it out of my head.

Wouldn't it be possible to create your own company and state yourself as empolyed and still live on crypto, just to make the man happy?
There are ways around some of these but i haven't gotten big enough to make them work.
The man is always a bollix and want everything on paper. Especially over here. Even if you have your own business it is very hard to get a mortgage as your income isn't steady.

Annoying and well, true your income might not be stable as an depending body :/

Just get a office job, its not as hard as a store job :p
