Euphorbia lophogona
On this occasion I present some photographs of an ornamental plant called Euphorbia lophogona that I found on the edge of my property, apparently belongs to my neighbors.
It is a milky plant with reddish flowers with white spots, its leaves are elongated and bright green, it can grow several centimeters high and it is somewhat brittle, although it is easy to transplant.
It is a flower of a very curious shape, its showy tones are striking since it is not completely red, the center is not loaded with pollen and is somewhat rough, it has the appearance of being a false plant, that is to say, made of plastic.
It has a long stem full of long and thick thorns, its flowers grow in small clusters that protrude from the elongated stem, the leaves lack a stem so they grow close to the body of the plant.
The flowers have only two long petals that cover their pistils in a kind of spiral, they are red with tiny white spots, the center is yellow and three tiny pistils protrude from it, the curious thing is that despite its striking shape it lacks aroma.
Are you going to edit this post and add some photos to it? If not it will be flagged to remove the pending rewards.
Yes, that's what I planned to do. I need time to search for images and make a description. @derangedvisions
