Many girls in this community surely wear makeup every day when going to work or to do other activities, I include myself in that lot, makeup is something I really like to do and I wear it almost every day, however, it's been a while that I didn't feel too motivated to try to recreate a makeup that I liked.

Yesterday I realized I had the afternoon off, which was a huge relief because I could finally do anything I wanted, so I chose to take inspiration and try something new.

Process:

Many of us already know how important it is to prepare the skin before applying makeup, what I did was to moisturize my skin with a gel, then I applied some sunscreen because I like the matte texture it leaves on my skin and finally I distributed a few drops of primer all over the area.

I always wait a few minutes for my skin to absorb all the products to start with the makeup, I usually start by defining my eyebrows with shadow and then correcting my dark circles and other imperfections with concealer and then I like to apply a layer of makeup fixer.

You can imagine the level of concentration I had to have in order to outline the wings of the butterfly. It wasn't easy and I thought I wouldn't be able to get both wings to look symmetrical, but with a little patience I did it.

I shaded the outer part of the eye with purple and lined it with black shadow which I then blurred a bit, I added purple shimmers on the inner part of the eye to make the makeup look more highlighted.

During the process I realized that this makeup is not that elaborate or difficult to do and it's great for practicing your eyeliner pulse. It would have been great to apply some sparkly beads, but I don't have any, so instead I made little dots inside the butterfly with the eyeliner.

I finished my makeup after applying blush on my high cheekbones, highlighter on my nose, defining my lips with a pink lipstick and then filling them with gloss and I also applied at least 3 coats of mascara to make my eyelashes stand out.

I wish I could share more pictures of the makeup but the power suddenly went out and by the time it came back on it was really late and I had already taken everything off... but I hope that despite this small detail you enjoyed the post as much as I enjoyed spending time on this cute makeup (you know how much I love butterflies).
