Digital art | Drawing cowgirls part III // Dibujo digital | Dibujando vaqueras parte III
I always look for inspiration for my cowgirl collection, however, I haven't had much time to dedicate to these drawings and I've felt a little pressured to advance them, although now I know how to draw a little faster, I've had the focus on other things, but I tried to organize myself this weekend to have a few hours to create something new for this collection.
Although I wanted to draw, I didn't feel much inspiration, it usually happens, doesn't it, all of us who draw have stages where inspiration and motivation play against us, but in spite of everything I tried to relax and whatever idea came up, I would try to continue with the style and the range of colors that I have already done in my previous drawings.
On this occasion I took the following palette as my color palette. I liked that together the colors looked so bright and striking.
Process:
I started sketching the girl's body in the center of the image, I had some inconveniences that little by little I had to polish like the hands and her face, I don't usually draw both aspects in that angle so I had to erase a few times until I felt satisfied with the complete figure of her.
Since I understood the use of the "lasso" tool, coloring the drawings is a step that I advance more quickly, sometimes I decide not to use it because it relaxes me to color the drawing little by little, but since I know it, I find it a marvel.
I love the part of adding highlights to the drawing. Detailing this car was a step I really enjoyed, the more I added a highlight to an area, the more the car came to life. Difficult was figuring out what to place behind it to cover the large space behind it.
Glows and lights never fail. I drew the figure of a butterfly and added a neon effect with the layer mode in linear overexposure, I thought about adding more elements but then I thought it would distract the view from the central figure.
When I thought the drawing would be ready, I had doubts. I was not happy with some details of the girl's clothing so I added a print on her shirt and changed the shiny texture of the pants. Now I felt much more comfortable with the design.

Siempre suelo buscar inspiración para mi colección de vaqueras, sin embargo, no he tenido mucho tiempo para dedicarle a estos dibujos y me he sentido un poco presionada por avanzarlos, aunque ahora sé dibujar con un poco más de rapidez, he tenido el enfoque en otras cosas, pero traté de organizarme este fin de semana para tener unas cuantas horas para crear algo nuevo para esta colección.
Aunque quería dibujar, no sentía mucha inspiración, suele pasar ¿no?, todos los que dibujamos tenemos etapas donde la inspiración y la motivación nos juegan en contra, pero a pesar de todo traté de relajarme y surgiera la idea que surgiera, trataría de continuar con el estilo y la gama de colores que ya he realizado en mis anteriores dibujos.
En esta ocasión tomé como gama de colores la siguiente paleta. Me gustó que unidos los colores se vieran tan brillantes y llamativos.
Proceso:
Empecé bocetando el cuerpo de la chica en el centro de la imagen, tuve algunos inconvenientes que poco a poco tuve que ir puliendo como las manos y su rostro, no suelo dibujar ambos aspectos en ese ángulo así que tuve que borrar unas cuantas veces hasta sentirme conforme con la figura completa de ella.
Desde que entendí el uso de la herramienta "lazo", colorear los dibujos es un paso que avanzo con más rapidez, en ocasiones decido no usarla porque me relaja colorear poco a poco el dibujo, pero desde que la conozco, me parece una maravilla.
Adoro la parte de añadir brillos al dibujo. Detallar este automóvil fue un paso que disfruté mucho, cuanto más le añadía un toque de luz a una zona, el auto cobraba vida. Difícil fue pensar qué colocar detrás de él para cubrir el gran espacio que hay detrás de él.
Los brillos y las luces nunca fallan. Dibujé la figura de una mariposa y le añadí un efecto neón con el modo de capa en sobreexposición lineal, pensé en añadir más elementos pero pensé que entonces distraería mucho la vista de la figura central.
Cuando pensé que el dibujo estaría listo, me asaltó la duda. No me sentí conforme con algunos detalles de la vestimenta de la chica así que añadí un estampado en su camisa y cambié la textura brillosa del pantalón. Ahora sí, me sentí mucho más a gusto con el diseño.
Y eso fue todo por ahora, espero muy pronto compartirles más de esta colección, porque realmente disfruto dibujar vaqueras con mucho estilo. Espero que hayan disfrutado el post del día, nos leemos en una próxima ocasión!
