Digital drawing | Scape from your comfort zone [ENG-ESP]

English version

Following the aesthetics of one of the last drawings I shared Peligro, I was inspired to make another drawing. I must say that I was not very clear about the concept, but little by little I let myself go until I found the result that I liked the most, I hope you appreciate it in the process:

Drawing the sketch and deciding in what order I would use the color palette was the most complicated part, I had some problems with the proportion of the face that I was correcting along the process, and after outlining the drawing and establishing the colors I felt more confident.

I made an effort to make it a drawing with a semi-realistic finish, although her skin is very pale I tried to have good contrasts in it, what I'm most proud of is the hand XD. I changed the eye color to make it look more interesting and be an important focal point.

What she's holding in her hand is supposed to be a mirror, so I started to think of a way to make the reflection look interesting, so I made several sketches looking for the best option.

Finally I eliminated the flower figure from the previous sketch and left only the reflection of a girl (maybe it's the same, maybe not, you can draw your own conclusions), but I drew it in a more animated style and with a pointillism effect that I feel makes it look interesting, as if it were an alternate reality or something like that.

I also finished giving shadows to the neck and part of the torso and placed an accessory on the neck to give more details to the drawing. In the background I just made a gradient between fuchsia and violet and I finished the drawing.

Versión en Español

Siguiendo con la estética de uno de los últimos dibujos que compartí Peligro, me inspiré a hacer otro dibujo. Debo decir que no tenía muy en claro cuál era el concepto pero poco a poco me dejé llevar hasta dar con el resultado que más me gustó, espero que lo aprecien en el proceso:

Dibujar el boceto y decidir en qué orden usaría la paleta de colores fue lo más complicado, tuve algunos problemas con la proporción del rostro que fui corrigiendo a lo largo del proceso, y luego de delinear el dibujo y establecer los colores fui sintiéndome más confiada.

Me esforcé porque fuera un dibujo con un acabado semirrealista, aunque su piel es muy pálida intenté que hubieran buenos contrastes en ella, de lo que más me siento orgullosa es de la mano XD. Cambié el color de ojos para que se viera más interesante y fuera un punto focal importante.

Se supone que lo que sostiene en su mano es un espejo, así que me puse a pensar una manera en que lo que reflejase se viese interesante, así que hice varios bocetos buscando la mejor opción.

Finalmente eliminé la figura de la flor del boceto anterior y dejé solamente el reflejo de una chica (quizá es la misma, quizá no, ustedes pueden sacar sus conclusiones), pero lo dibujé en un estilo más animado y con un efecto de puntillismo que siento hace que se vea interesante, como si fuera una realidad alternativa o algo así.

También terminé de darle sombras al cuello y parte del torso y le coloqué un accesorio en el cuello para darle más detalles al dibujo. Al fondo solo le hice un degradado entre fucsia y violeta y di por concluido el dibujo.
