Corn Chip-Crusted Crispy Chicken pieces

How are you my dear friends, I hope everyone is well.

It's festive in the kitchen today:) Because I fried crispy chicken pieces.
And I wanted to share this delicious recipe with you.

It is very easy to make, mix everything and let it sit for a long time. The only challenging part is the frying process. Maybe it's hard for me:) because I don't like frying at all. It is not a cooking method I usually prefer. I fry more in the oven, but this is not suitable for every recipe. For example, it is not easy to achieve this crunchiness by cooking in the oven at home.

I like to try the dishes we are used to eating in fast food restaurants at home.
I can say that it was no different from the chicken pieces we eat in chain restaurants.
In fact, I think it might even be more delicious because in those restaurants, the fat is fried over and over again and it is very unhealthy.

Definitely a recipe that I highly recommend you to try.

The ingredients for these delicious crispy chicken pieces are quite simple and easily accessible.

Ingredients

-500 grams of chicken breast
-about 1 cup flour
-1 tea glass of milk
-half a bottle of mineral water
-1 egg
-chicken seasoning
-curry
-red pepper powder
-black pepper
-salt
-garlic powder
-half a teaspoon of baking soda

Breadcrumbs
Corn chips

Recipe;

First of all, I cut the chicken into small pieces. Make sure that they are not too thick so that the cooking time is short and the inside is cooked well.

After cutting the chicken, we can move on to the sauce. First, I break the egg into a mixing bowl.

I add milk over the egg, about a tea glass.

Then I add all the spices. At this stage, you can add or remove the desired spices.

After mixing, I add a little baking soda.

I put mineral water on top of the carbonate and stir. Here the carbonate and mineral water are activated.

At the end, I add flour to the liquid mixture and mix. I get a thick sauce.

I put the chicken pieces into this sauce and mix it well. After all the chicken is covered with the sauce, I cover it and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 to 3 hours. If you have time, preparing it the night before will give much better results.
The longer the chicken marinates, the softer and tastier it gets.

While the chicken was resting in the fridge, I prepared the coating.
I put the corn chips in a freezer bag and crushed them into small crumbs.

You can do this in a food processor, but I crumbled it in a bag because I didn't want it to be powdery.

I mixed the chips and breadcrumbs to make a crispy coating.

The chicken is well rested and ready to cook.

I remove the chicken pieces from the sauce and dip them in the flour mixture with chips.

I prepare the whole chicken and set it aside, because it's more difficult to fry them one by one.

I put oil in a frying pan, put it on the stove and heat it well.
I start frying the chicken in deep and hot oil.

I fried them all and ended up with quite a lot of chicken pieces.
The crispy coated chicken is ready to serve.
An irresistible flavor with fries on the side.
