Hello Hive open mic community!..
Howdy✨🤗

Welcome to Hive Open mic week 152🕺💃
Traditional Music is the theme for this week's hive open mic music concert.. All thanks to @bertrayo for giving us the opportunity to show our tradition through music..
In line with the theme, I'd perform these two amazing worship songs in my mother tongue and that's the Igbo language.. As sung by Emmasings & Gabriel

For some reasons that I can't explain, I usually sing these two songs together like they were sung together by one musician😂
It could probably be because of those song leaders in my fellowship who do not forget to sing it the same way I sung it each song service time.. Like it must be sung in a sequential order or so.. lol!

Anyways, a part of the lyrics of the first song says,
Ahihia di n'ohia efufe aka n'enye aha gi ekele(The grass in the forest waves its hand in praise of your name)

Umu madu bi n'uwa n'egbu ikpere, naja aha gi mma(People who live on earth kneel down and praise your name)
Check here for the full lyrics

If the grasses in the forest could praise God, then who am I not to praise him?

Then, for the second song, a part of the lyrics says..
Isi iyi nke ndu (The stream of life)
Nke na dighi ata’ta (That never runs dry)
Check here for full lyrics

God is my source of life.. He's being so good to me..

I enjoyed doing this video, I hope you enjoy it too 🥰
Thank you!

Been long I have heard you singing. I missed your beautiful voice and here I am today feeling your song too. I love Igbo songs, even though I do not understand unless the lyrics are translated, but I admire how they sing and the tune too.

"The hand of God....." I can sing that song in Igbo too. So sweet and emotional 😎🥺🥺

Great performance too 💕🥳🥳
