"Abstract" for Monomad Daily Challenge

I was thrilled to find some abstract photos I took awhile back with the intent to use them to create a Monomad Challenge post.
I forgot about them when life threw me a curve ball and parenting my adult mother suddenly became a fulltime job at the beginning of April. Mom is recovering well!

By now many of you brilliant people on HIVE figured out what these photographs are of.
For those who are still scratching your head, the images are a stainless steel washing machine drum!
This is my entry to the daily #monomad challenge initated by the incredible @brumest and run by @monochromes.

I don't know if it's because of my screen, but that first image seems to be in full color. A silver reflective surface but still full color.
If that's the case please keep in mind to publish a black and white image as your post's cover photograph next time.

Well I thought that the original first image was a sweet "natural" monochrome! Oh I am glad we are not sticklers at Monochrome Mondays lol.
Can I say I am a real fan of your washing machine! I mean totally jelly! Oh I know Charlotte would write over it, "Some Drum" (obscure Charlottes Web reference just coz it rhymes). Mine is not nearly the drum but I will have to show it today I suppose :)
