RAINBOW FLAG WALL
Prior to recent times of present, I haven’t given rainbow anything much attention, if any. There’s plenty my time and attention are removed from. It’s certainly not limited to synthetic rainbows.
I’m not sure what prompted me to explore rainbow themes. I think I may have been influenced by people on #palnet, with their lively discussions. So I went on a walk. A rainbow wonderland walk in the city. I never realized that they are everywhere, in addition to crosswalks.RAINBOW PARK BENCHES

Sometimes, the rainbows really stand out, such as when they covered the entire front and steps of a library here. Another, very similar type of building that housed a bank received the same rainbow brush treatment. Both buildings are large, so they literally glowed in rainbow colours.RAINBOW BANKS
Over the years, I’ve noticed there are more and more rainbow flags. They keep increasing in number. They are usually flown with the Canadian flag, just below it. This is not an event related flag flying, it’s yearlong; they never come down. I noticed and then stopped noticing after a while. Life goes on. I focus on what I need to. It’s really not my concern what others do, unless it crosses into a situation of harm directed towards me.RAINBOW CANADA
The rainbow photo walk made me realize that I’ve become conditioned to seeing them everywhere. I had ceased paying attention. It has become the never-ending new normal. Even pets have gone rainbow.RAINBOW PAW
Before I went out to photograph them, I searched rainbow crosswalks in Canada. Where are they and how many are there? I spent several hours doing research on this. In the process, I found articles about rainbow crosswalks being vandalized, controversy as to the installation of them, and a separate issue regarding safety, in terms of being a driving hazard. That last one seemed rather bizarre. Maybe some people get so excited at seeing a rainbow crosswalk while driving that accidents occur.RAINBOW CROSSWALKS
None of these things had even occurred to me, so I was surprised. Is everything a controversy these days? My intention was simple. I wanted to find out how many rainbow crosswalks in Canada and where, or at least a picture of the Canadian rainbow collective. It’s bizarre to discover all this fighting for, or against rainbow crosswalks, including the cost of the paint. People are skilled at dividing against each other and fighting over anything and everything, especially these days.RAINBOW CANOPY

Do I have an issue with rainbows? No. I’m standing in the middle of rainbow ground. I’m playing observer only. No rainbow sidewalk has ever forcibly painted itself on me, so I’m good in that regard.
The other rainbow displays? The whole unmentionable that I refuse to name? In my mind, no harm equals no issues. Quite frankly, when it comes to harm, it arrives in all rainbow flavours. That has nothing to do with rainbow culture, flags, sidewalks, ways of seeing and/or being in the world. It has always had everything to do with the individual. This has been my consistent experience.

You're quite right. Years ago, the big corporations took over to using rainbow culture to profit and to drive their interests in specific directions. I always liked the crosswalks and also the park benches. The hardest to see is people being unaware of how they are being taken advantage of and also this fighting against each other.

Latin culture is really male centric and homosexuals are not "ok" to most latinos. Men and woman, For example argentina have legal weddings but the gay couple that do marry, have LITERALLY 0 legal rights for it, you dont share what you buy or wharever. That needs to be done with another legal paper that is "heavily" controlled by the goverment. Basically if you arent rich n homosexual, you cant get married on argentina for real.
Is commont to hear from a lgbtiq+ person to be killed in here, especially the T. So... im used to these inhuman's and their way of thinking... Relax, internet biggest reward is opening the minds of the ignorants to change.
It's heavily discouraged it seems, unless financially set to go through all that. Not much point in marriage if it's not equal and adding a second layer legal document is ridiculous.
I've heard this is the case in some countries, but I didn't know it was like that in South America. I wish people would just stop with all the fear and hate. It always makes me sad.
Well is the same area of the world where people expects a civil war in atleast 5 countrys, mexico, colombia, venezuela, panama and trinidad y tobago are all on the edge of a civil war, maybe worse.
So you could say that sadness is gonna last, because hate is a set thing for latin america.

So, yeah, latin america is a disaster zone. There are non goverment ruled areas in the US and Canada as well, but most people are totally ignorant of this, druglords, weapon traders, and stuff have a lot more powe than you think xD

You know, I'm not sure whether open corruption is better than corruption hidden behind a smile that knifes you in the back. I'll have to fill you in on some things about Canada. I really can't speak about anything unless I have direct experience, which limits me to Canada and the US (to a degree).

Damn lots of a rainbows in Canada 🤣 we do have some in London, it's quite an "open minded" city, my partner was just telling me the other day that 1/3 of people in London didn't even get the first dose of the vaxx 🤣 so yeah it's cool to think that some people are trying to think outside of the herd.

LOL, I was indifferent to noticing until so much discussion as I mentioned. That's what prompted me to shoot the photos and write this post.
There are always those without the collective mindset. Can you imagine if everyone were the same? Life would be so boring and mundane.

Hey, that's never a problem. Anything you have to say or not say is good with me. The owl one is a metal ornament on a gravestone (lol) and owl because my father was very connected to owls, could say he had the qualities of an owl in a sense. 😂

That's a lot of rainbows, looks happy there.
I see dollar signs when I see these things. Rainbows or stars n stripes, it's all the same shit to me. When they do things like paint asphalt for foot traffic and vehicle tires to destroy, especially at the rates you mentioned, pisses me off. Thousands and thousands of dollars spent to paint deteriorating roadways when thousands of thousand of people are starving and cold.
