The education system and Education policy-2010 in Bangladesh
The Indian subcontinent firstly came across to the light of education with the help of the British. They teach us how to write, how to read as well as help to think like a practitioner. The emergence of the new middle class was formed by them. These middle-class people help to stabilize the balance between the upper class and the lower class. This class produced many novels and many more Intelectual fundamentals were transcended by them.
the education system was first introduced by the British government. They divided the education system into three parts. Primary, secondary, and honors level of education is introduced by them. After the partition of Bangla into two parts first, the British government established karjon hall as give away.
The University of Dhaka became the center of every movement as well as helps to develop a meritocratic society based on culture, knowledge, and the most important demand for a high-quality lifestyle.
The time goes by, many specifications of the education system develop from time to time. The education commission formed by Sher-A-Bangla AK Fazlul Haq paved a way to run the system smoothly. But alas! We have gained our liberation from Pakistan for more than a half-century years till now we have no law regarding education. The one line of the education system is not introduced either
The education policy-2010
It is our irony that we have our first education policy in-2010. A long plicy though but it is worthy.
Evaluation of education policy-2010
Aims and objective:
Here they touch all aspects like ensuring equal participation for all. Adoptation of ICT based education system is also introduced. They try to highlight the constitutional responsibility as well as making the citizen capable of enlightening themselves through Education
The highlighted sector of education:
Pre-Primary education
Pre-primary education means to nourish the children for primary education. Solely most of this work is done by non-government organizations like BRAC, ASA etc. But In this policy, It is strictly notified that all the ngo are bound to have permission from the Government for this kind of activity. Mosty the syllabi of this curricula contain moral education
Primary education
Primary education is the first phase of enlightenment , those countries who give importance, they will surely have a good generation to move forward to the nation. It is the birthplace of any individual to fit himself in for the society as well as family. One thing which is changed about this phase from the past, class one to five is considered to be the ohase of primary education but now under this policy, It decleares class one two eight as primary education. And the Government offers free primary education for all. It also incorporates the teacher requirement, Higher secondary pass students can teach them having a 2nd division degree and for class six to eight requires a second class bachelor's degree.
The policy also touch the following sectors
