HELLO HIVE

The #hivelearners community has again presented us with another interesting topic for this week's second edition topic. It's all about describing yourself and I will try my best to give you a picture of who I am in this post and what makes me stand out!

ABOUT ME

I am Nkemakonam by name, but I preferred to be called "Nkem" which means mine. I am from a family of 6 children but occupy the 5th position. I am a twin, my twin brother was birthed first before me so I can say that he occupies the 4th position why I maintain my fifth position☺️. I am from Enugu state, the Eastern part of Nigeria. I was born on the 17th of June 1989. My late Dad was a trader while my mum is a multi-talented businesswoman. I was raised by my grandma and growing up under her care made a great impact on my life.

MY EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

I graduated from the university as a dental Technologist. I have worked in the hospital practicing my profession and I have also worked in other firms to make ends meet. I did my postgraduate studies in Education with the view of owning a school in the future.

MY MARITAL STATUS

I married 8 years ago and was blessed with 3 amazing boys 😍. I reside in Lagos state Nigeria with my husband and my kids.

MY HOBBIES

Traveling is one of my greatest hobbies. I have covered 16 states in my country, and haven't traveled outside Nigeria before but it's my wish to do so. Music, cooking, and watching movies are also part of my hobbies that I cherish.

MY CYCLE OF FRIENDS

I am intentional about choosing friends. Even though I am sociable but when it comes to my close friends, I am always deliberate about that. This is because our friends have a great influence on our lives. It can be a positive or negative influence depending on the type of friends you keep. So currently, I have a great cycle of friends, amazing friends with similar visions and dreams about life. Success Oriented and responsible beings. In the past, I have removed one lady from my close friend list when she was out to ruin my life. This is how intentional I can be while making friends.

MY BUSINESS GOAL

I believe in having different streams of income as a means to meet up with the world economy and so, I get involved with some side business while working on becoming a full-time employer of labor through my business. This goal is 80% in progress!

MY FAVORITE MEAL

I am a foodie, no doubt. I am not allergic to any kind of food (the ones I know). I am not selective, I eat whatever is available but my favorite food is bitter leaf soup with semolina (a native delicacy).

MY PERSONALITY

I have a fragile heart. So soft that little things get inside of me so easily. I am a curious being, always wanting to know everything 🤦. Impatient but working on it (with so much progress now). I am diligent, kind, loving, cheerful, humble, and caring.

WHAT MAKES ME STAND OUT?

Commitment: Whatever I get involved with, I always strive to be available for it with my positive energy. Be it in school, at church, in the office, or at any social gathering, I commit myself so much to ensuring that the set objectives are achieved. I have held some positions during my university days and the outcome was excellent due to my commitment level. Also in some organizations, I belong to, my commitment level is always obvious, commendable, and outstanding. I usually go for what I have passion for and so getting committed to that becomes an easy peasy task.

Having said that, I am also a super positive person, highly determined and dedicated to whatever role assigned to me, and always eager to give in my best (quality result). Having a good relationship with people (teamwork) while carrying out tasks is not left out, all these are more are what makes me stand out there👌

There is still so much about me, you my reader, and my hive friends, already know some but permit me to stop here today.

You married early and I love that even having three giant kids with you. So awesome and I admire that.

Being committed is something that is rewarding as this could even announce you to great people and being responsible too.

Having a positive circle of friends is the best ma. I don´t have time for toxic friends who are bent on ruining one´s life. If you aren´t adding to my life, I won´t let you remove something from my life either.
I am glad knowing more of you again though this post.

I have no doubt in your claim for commitment. You are committed, dedicated and passionate. These qualities make you go farther on the road to success.

I am also intentional about close friends. There is no use of keeping toxic people in our lives. They are ready to inject their venom in us whenever they get a chance.

I didn’t know you were a twin until now and this post was the last place I thought I’d find out. The city discord is where I’d expect to get this gossip lol. That must be cool though. Being a twin. I’ve always wondered what that felt like.

You definitively have travelled more than I have. I’ve only left my Region once my entire life, and the one time I left, it wasn’t for fun or anything it was for a school conference my school selected me to represent at.

I see your commitment even in your consistency on Hive. You’re a very busy woman without doubt, but you still manage to make it here everyday and to discord to be engaged. You’re doing a great job!

This got me laughing so hard, it is a necessity because some people are just in our life to show us shege😁 what did she do though😶

i can testify to your commitment level, you showed that during the neo care project, not every one is highly spirited in carrying out such duties and you just did it as if it is nothing, am really impressed!
