GOOD COMPLIMENTS AND THEIR POSITIVE EFFECT

Wow, it feels good to always receive nice compliments from people. The positive energy is unexplainable😇. You must have done something that people like and it got their attention and thus the compliment. Whenever I receive good compliments from people, it triggers me to do more...of course nice compliments are a motivator and who wouldn't want to be receiving positive words all the time? Lolz. Well, I don't know about you reading this at the moment but for me, I love the sound of nice compliments daily cos it sets my morale high on whatever it is that I am doing that got me complimented.

I have never thought there will be a day I will be writing this but thanks to the #hiveleaners crew who always search deeper into topics that ordinarily, my mind wouldn't go there👌

Over the years, I have received lists of nice compliments from people in different areas of my life. So before I share with you the one I consider to be the greatest compliment, let me quickly share other ones that I cherish and usually put smiles on my face.

One of the regular compliments I get from people is about my body structure even after birthing 3 kids. Some people usually believe that I haven't gotten married not to talk of giving birth and I still wonder if truly I don't look married 😅. Well, indeed, some women usually go out of shape after birthing while some think that looking good is only meant for thesingles, however, I have been so conscious of what and when I eat to control unnecessary weight gain and perhaps my shape currently after birthing. It's been "you look fine, stunning, gorgeous and all of that.. lolz and I have always wanted to keep working on whatever I am doing about this that many people including myself like, to keep the ministry going ☺️

Another interesting compliment I do receive from people is about my cooking skill.

Okay, I am not going to rant but truth be told, I am a good cook, especially with my native delicacies. I grew up under my grandma, till I got married she nurtured me so well and I am proud of the woman I have become. Several times I have had friends and visitors in my home who eats my meal and it's been all about good compliments. In fact, one of my husband's friends brought his wife to come to learn one or two delicacies from my kitchen, and of course, this nice compliment pushes me to learn more.

Right from my childhood, I have also received good compliments on my contagious smiles 😊

I think it's natural, it just flows through me all the time...I smile at people even when they express their frustrations and it somehow soothes their emotions. Till now as an adult, smiling away my worries has never seized, smiling while greeting people hasn't seized either and it's one of the nice compliments I have received from people, they just love to see me smile.

Me, in my former workplace

Oh yes, I worked as an Admin Assistant/secretary in this firm. Throughout my stay in the office, all I did was just as if I was the owner of the company. I never knew that my Boss and other staff were taking note of that. To me, it was just what I am supposed to do at least give in my best as an employer but receiving that as a huge compliment which came with a huge gift one day in the office kept me flabbergasted. On the day I resigned and even currently when I visited the company, my boss said and I quote "Nkem, you served here as if it was your father's company, can't you come back and work again even if it's a part-time job"?

Smiles...😊, that was a very nice review and compliments about me, the greatest I can remember so far. I left a positive imprint on that company to date and I am super delighted about that.

In conclusion, positive compliments are a sign that what you are doing it's nice. It can be anything at all but whatever it is, just keep doing that and remain positive👌
