HOW DO YOU EASE OFF STRESS?

Life is full of stress. We toil now and then hustling to make ends meet and at times, we even forget to take proper care of ourselves. The truth is that as far as we exist in this world, expenses will keep coming from different angles and there will always be a need for us to keep working hard to meet up with our needs. However, it's also important that we take some time to self-treat, visit the beach, cinema, or social gathering, or perhaps our friends and catch up with the gist of life. Some of these measures can get you relieved of some stress as you continue to pursue your goals.?

I have been super busy for a pretty long time now multitasking as a mom, a wife, a blogger, a realtor, and co. Every day comes with its daily task and some set goals to achieve and I keep working back to back to stay on track👌. I had planned to go take myself out today and give my body some special treatment, spend some hours away from home without any of my kids, nor my husband just me time 🤗❤️😍🥳. Before achieving my plan, I received good news from my immediate elder brother on how God has blessed him and his wife with a bouncing baby girl 😍. Wow...I couldn't contain my joy, I had to dress up immediately and rush down to the hospital here in Lagos state Nigeria to see my beautiful princess and yes she is doing well with the mom.

It was time for my self-treatment and so I visited one of the nice eateries in Ajah, Lagos.

They had varieties of food menus but it wasn't difficult for me to decide what to eat.

This is because I have loved white rice and beans together but my husband doesn't like it. Each time I cook the two together in my home, he wouldn't eat it and I stopped. So today was just the best opportunity for me to eat this kind of combo without any questions..lol

This plate of food cost me #2,500 with the grilled snail😍. I also took some chilled yogurt which I forgot to capture. I took my time to eat, feel more relaxed, reflect on some things about my life, and smile 😊. I would have visited the cinema too but I shifted that to some other time.

Since I didn't go out with my kids, I thought of getting some snacks for them to put smiles on their faces as well.

I bought 3 meat pies each costing #350.

I also bought two plates of ice cream for them at #1,000 each. This is a mixture of chocolate and vanilla flavor ice cream but my favorite is the chocolate. I didn't like how the vanilla tasted.

In case you want to know the particular eatery I visited, it's KILIMANJARO and this is their sharwama section. I bought two wraps of shawarma at #1,700 each

Taking ice cream and the shawarma was a good combo my kids and I discovered this evening 😂

I must say that this Sunday was sublime to me. This was a way I eased off some stress today and I hope to be more refreshed to continue my week's activity.

Ha! That stress relieve is much needed, i can totally relate in wanting to have a me time, it's not easy, enjoy and take care of yourself while you can, stress related things will always be there. And congratulations for the new arrival of the bouncing baby girl.
I'm gonna try that ice cream and shawama combo, seems like a very go together combo.
