LOVE VS MONEY

It bewilders me how some well-off men think that they have the financial potential to attract ladies to love them because of their wealth. The truth is that most of them succeed on this expedition but the question is, doesn't it always last? What has been the endpoint when para venture the money is longer there? Will the love still exist? These were my thoughts and so many others have been running through my mind when I saw this week's edition topic on love for money.

Now, let's get to a clearer picture of what love is💖💝🧡. Love is more than feeling, it's a deep affection, that kind of bond that too people genuinely share and becomes inseparable even in the midst of ugly situations. Love is patient, love is sacrifice, love is kindness, and love tolerates and covers multitudes of weaknesses.

There are ways people bought love for themselves and some of these means are:through buying gifts, sending fat alert of money to whom they want to attract to love them, sponsoring their educations, helping families, offering good jobs, inviting them for dinner dates and so on. All these tactics are aimed at buying love even when inside of them, they don't have that love but think that money answers all. Well, it's no doubt that with money, one can be very happy, with money you can buy love but maybe a fake one that will fade after the money finishes.

In my view, I think that money cannot buy love. Love is a thing of the heart and is given freely. Love can be earned through trust, communication, care, and kindness and it's something we should allow to flow naturally and not be bought may be due to selfish reasons.

I know a marriage that failed due to the wrong foundation. Money was just their driving force and not love. The lady I am referring to mentioned that he married the man due to money and thought she will be wealthy through that means and when she finally accumulate money from the man, she will run away to her original lover and live comfortably with him but her expectations weren't fulfilled. The man on the other hand married her due to her beauty and later couldn't continue when the lady had an accident that figured one of her legs. You see, pure love is unconditional and both parties would stick to each in bad times and in good times but it's not always the same when the love was bought with money.

This post is in response to the @hivelearners community contest week 21 edition 1 topic titled Money for love.

Thanks for reading!!

Unfortunately, wealth is now the foundation for love or anything in for that matter. Most people don't even bother about feelings or attachment. They are just money grubbers.

The incident that you shared tells that both of them had intentions other than love and so their relationship couldn't continue. They broke up as soon as the partner lost the element. I wonder if the lady really loved the other person either. If she had left him for gathe4ring money, it means the person wasn't as important for her as money was.

Apparently , both of them had negative motives while entering in the marriage , it wasn't rooted in love and so didn't end well...

I so much appreciate your visit my sassy partner🤗🥰👍

I also agree that money cannot buy love... Love is supposed to be unconditional and when a lady marries a man because of the flashy things she receives from him, then it means it was never love.

You're absolutely right, love is a thing of the heart that should flow naturally.

Thanks for sharing this ma.

Making money in marriage should be a good and positive drive but it shouldn’t be the foundation for the marriage

Love is a beautiful thing that cants be brought with any amount, although money is needed to sustain it, even though it shouldn't be use as a standard in loving, it's needed for the maintain and sustainability that aid the growth and meet the needs of our partners.

To say you can buy someone's willingness to stick with you through thick and thin, not just for the fair weather and for no cynical motives, is quite a fool's errand. Love is not a commodity you see in markets. It takes more than what meets the eyes to define love. And time, trials and tribulations, will always tell.

However, I consider having money an advantage in finding love. It would certainly bring in fake friends—friends who would only stick around to gain your favor and do their bidding. But flow with me. A relationship that has good financial standing has one less thing to worry about. It makes loving a little easier in that regard. You get to have the experiences that having money can bring. Fufil dreams of providing your future generations with a good future. There are attributes that manifest themselves better when money is involved.

I sure am not trying to instill that money is the most important thing in relationships, but that it has a way of giving an added advantage. The concept of love crosses the scope of mere reasoning and material things. I hope you vibe with me, @nkemakonam89.

Happy New Month!

You make a really pertinent point here @olujay and I hear you! Money is not what should drive love, but let's assume true love exists in the relationship regardless, then if you have sufficient means for the relationship not to have to be burdened with financial worry too, which can place additional strains on marriage and family life, then there is more freedom to spend enjoying each other's company. This does not mean that relationships that endure financial strain will struggle or are without love, simply that financial security removes one more obstacle and makes life lighter for everyone concerned, and so simply having money, is not a necessary root to evil if managed appropriately, and can indeed support a loving relationship. !ALIVE

Hello, @samsmith1971. First, I apologise for just responding.

You get the exact point I am driving at. I actually made a post talking about how money as an enablement in relationships, and you have spoken on the exact points I centered upon. Here is the link to it, if you like to see how we thought alike.

is not a necessary root to evil if managed appropriately

Exactly! It is the even the "love" of money that is the root of evil, and not money itself. Heck, life is way easier with money. You nave one less thing to worry about that way.

I am so glad you so get my perspective. And thank you for submitting my comment to DreemPort.

Pure love is unconditional and I don't think anything could jeopardize that. Not even a bad moment. When your motive in loving someone is because of their money, reality would be dawned on you and you might regret such thought. Money can't buy love. Love is a feeling. I came through Dreemport 🤗

Pure love will endure through thick and thin, but when the love is based on money, the moment things go sideways everyone will find their way. And that is sad indeed.
