My fears and how I overcome them
Good day, my fellow hivers! It's the beginning of a new week, and I do hope you are positive about the new week. As for me, I grabbed my diary earlier this morning and wrote down my goals for the week. Hopefully, they will go as planned. Life is full of uncertainties, you know. What I experienced this past week, I never saw it coming, but life happened, and that brought me to this title up there: my fears...
The image is mine
I am afraid of many things, and one thing that is common and that a lot of people are usually afraid of is death. I am not an exception, though. When you talk about the fear of failure,I get that A1. As much as I strive to achieve my goals by working hard and praying at the same time, I am afraid of not being a successful woman. Everyone wants to succeed, but then failure shows up at one point or another in our lives. All in all, I try to remain positive and keep doing things differently for a better result.
I am also afraid of not being the best parent for my kids; this fear has led me to seek ways to become better each day. This has also made me cultivate the habit of reminding my kids to be of good character daily in the form of our routine daily affirmation. I keep guiding them rightly to my capacity, instilling good morals, and praying for them daily. When I hear of how some kids represent their parents negatively out there,I get scared, and that will make me double my efforts to raise a responsible child.
On Thursday this week, my son was terribly sick and became unconscious. To say that I was scared of death is an understatement. A lot of thoughts ran through my mind when I saw him struggling with life even as the doctors were doing their best. At a point, I took my mobile phone and reached out to my close friends and family, telling them the condition of my son. I can say that this was the best decision I took, as they reminded me about God's promises to us and spoke lots of positive words to me that brought back my wandering soul. Their words were soothing and encouraging, and they made me calm and helped me overcome my fears. Today, my son feels so okay and sound, and death didn't happen. As humans, we can easily get scared of many things when things go wrong, but henceforth, I have learned to remain positive amidst any raging storm.

Our fears are just signs of being human and it okay to be scared but allowing those negative thoughts influence badly is what is not good about fears.
I am scared to die and scared to lose my loves ones. Even though death is inevitable, we can't wish it to anyone.
I am happy about your son recovery, it is well with our soul.
Indeed, allowing our fears to have negative effects in us isn't good atall..
Thanks for coming through George
Thanks for your kind words 👍✅
