Today we celebrate the teachers for their efforts, patience, dedication, etc, in guiding the young generation into a prosperous life with the light of knowledge. Indeed teachers are heroes, through the teachers, many other professions are birth 👌. The experience I had in homeschooling my children made me respect the classroom teachers so much and so, I don't hesitate to give them support where I can.

It's been a colorful day putting smiles in the life of the teachers here through gifts, and wonderful messages to encourage them for all they do in nurturing the kids. Everyone that teaches anything is indeed a teacher. Mummies, daddies, uncles, aunties, mentors, and so on...we are all teachers and I must admit that teaching job is never an easy peasy task, hence, appreciating the classroom teachers today.

To celebrate the teachers today, my children's school seeks volunteers from parents to spare their time to appreciate the teachers by teaching the students in the classroom today while the classroom teachers rest, only for today 😂, wow👍.

This was a welcome idea by many of us including those of us that were there to cheer other parents up. It was a nice experience having parents in the classroom doing the work of the teachers. A lot of time, parents complain about so many things regarding their children, but the experience today made some parents confess that this noble profession is not easy and requires a lot of sacrifices.

If only our Nigerian government can review teachers' salaries, it will motivate the teachers to do more. Teachers are highly down paid here, their salary doesn't worth their efforts and this has made many quit and face business.

The relationship we parents have with the teachers in my children's school is so encouraging, we are all in a WhatsApp group where we express ourselves to the teachers regarding our kids and these teachers have been amazing in attending to every parent. Because of this, a lot of parents turn out today to relieve them from work stress while they take the lead. I didn't teach but I supported my fellow parents 😊. The gift and appreciation to the teachers by parents were numerous and that made their day.

In conclusion, teaching is a noble profession and I celebrate all teachers all over the world today. The nurturing and care of the young generation are not taken for granted.

Teaching is something I've tried for a very long time and I can tell you that it's not an easy responsibility especially when you want to do it to a tee.

I can't help but notice those amazing pictures in your post. Haha.

The school that came up with the idea of allowing parents to teach for a day are very amazing. I love the exercise

I think teachers all over the world are underpaid (apart from those in private schools in wealthy countries).

Teaching is life. Teaching is fun, but it is demanding and needs a lot of concentration. I had to a break from it because private school in our side of the world can kill one with work, imagine a teacher taking four different subjects for multiple class Cader. It's well.

Oh! This is really a great idea @nkemakonam89. I haven't seen this actions here. The school here also celebrated teacher's day. A student singing for their teachers, saying thank you, brought some simple gifts, gave some cakes and have some food to enjoy to celebrate it together.

The idea of parents teaching on the teacher's day was a new one and I liked it. I am not a teacher though just participated as the school requested.

I love this idea the school came up with. Now, parents would know the rigorous work teachers are doing. It's not easy being a teacher and we should support them too. I love that idea seriously 🤩🤩
