Real estate consultant: my job aside, blogging on Hive

I started my real estate consultation job even before I joined hive. This was one of the reasons why it took me time to process the information about blogging in this space until I finally gave it a shot and loved being here. I was so comfortable with my real estate business and found blogging to be something I couldn't do, but here we are today. So aside from blogging on Hive, real estate business is what I do in real life for a living, and I would explain to you how it works with me.

Firstly, gone are those days when many people considered roadside agents as the only way to approach real estate business. If that were the only way, then I wouldn't be in the real estate business today because I don't want to pass through the issues that come with being a roadside agent. But through real estate network marketing via real estate companies, your real estate business becomes safer and easier, and you are regarded as a real estate consultant and not a roadside agent.

So I registered with PWAN (property World African Network), a real estate company with its headquarters here in Lagos State, Nigeria, and many branches in almost 36 states across Nigeria. PWAN is the first real estate network marketing company in the world, with more than a decade of experience in the real estate industry. They have 20+ affiliates, with whom we, the PBOs, work. Because it's a networking real estate business, I don't only earn when I sell their properties; I also earn when people that registered under me sell properties too. By now, you may be thinking that it's all about registering people. No! It's actually your choice, only that it increases your earnings. When I gave birth to my last child, I was still in the hospital when I saw different alerts from PWAN as a result of sales from my downline. I wasn't even aware that they sold some properties, so this is the benefit you get when you register someone and both of you keep networking. Apparently,many people earn from this means without selling directly but through the sales of their downlines. However, you can decide to work on your own without disturbing anyone to register under you; just market either the company's land or houses, make sales, and earn

The good side of this business is that you can actually close a deal in another state from the comfort of your home. It has happened to me several times, even without visiting the site. All you need to do is connect your client to the PWAN office in his or her state of residence, and when the business deal is closed, you will get your commission. It's a business I found so convenient to do. However, product knowledge helps one sell better. After registration, attending seminars where you will learn more about landed properties is vital. Knowledge to help you reach out to society about the need to embrace real estate.

Real estate has changed the lives of many in our society today, and I find it so vital. Even though lots of people complain about how it's capital intensive to get involved in real estate, many real estate companies nowadays have brought out installment payments up to 6 months to 2 years in order to accommodate more investors who find real estate important. What I do when I see nice properties is reach out to some people I know might be interested in them and market the property to them. I am not too into renting, but many people still look for me in that aspect. So I joined some real estate WhatsApp group where we connect more, and most times, I give out my client who needs renting to those that specialize in renting while they send my share after the business deal. What I do more is land and house marketing, mostly through running ads and sometimes through my social media handles and also through my direct contacts like uncles and cousins, and today, most of them are property owners through me.

I do not hesitate to let people know what I do. I have succeeded in educating most people on the need to embrace real estate investment, no matter how small you wish to start with. I do not think I will change this line of business any time soon, as the approach is stress-free and comes with a decent profit whenever I make sales, and more especially, as it helps to create awareness among those who are yet to understand the gold that is embedded in real estate in our society at large.
