The most valuable thing that brings joy to my days - LOH #132
Material things are not the most valuable thing in life, however, there are material things that bring joy to our days. Show us something unnecessary but makes you happy — it can be a simple toy or even a cup with a design that you love, and please tell us the story behind that object.
Lovely day, my amiable ladies. I am excited to join this week's contest. Reading through the question, I thought of other little materials that bring joy to my days, like my MP3 player, my washing machine that makes work easier for me, a lovely perfume gifted to me by a friend, etc. However, I thought of choosing my Android phone, which is like a baby to me and has a nice memory attached to it.

A good friend of mine here in hive gifted me this phone. It happened that I lost my only phone, which I use for my online activities, so suddenly. I do not have a PC, nor do I have a spare Android phone. It was as if I was in another world, going days without a phone to connect with my online friends and keep up with my hive activities. Those two days I was offline looked like two years in my eyes. I was cut off completely from the digital world, and I felt it. Within two days of my life without a phone, this kind-hearted soul asked of me and got an answer that I did not have a phone. As of then, she sent me a huge amount of money to buy this phone and resume my online activities. I am forever grateful for this act of kindness by her. It's such a nice memory I cannot forget in a hurry.
With my Android phone, I play music🎶 and take advantage of the therapy music brings. With my android phone, I sometimes research some recipes for me and my family through YouTube and prepare something new. I do research and learn more about life using my phone. I haven't gone a day without showing up in hive with my Android phone with me, and hive has been so supportive to me and my family, all thanks to my phone. This phone brings so much joy to me daily, to the point that without it, I feel like a big vacuum has been created. I take advantage of the positive impact the phone gives to people daily, and it's been amazing with me on a daily basis.

I felt like this when I was robbed in 2020, my phone, money and all. It was a few people who helped get me one small phone like that. I'm glad you're back online. Friends are everything we have in life.

. right now, I am planning on getting a spare phone and keep just incase such similar situation arises again. Having a pc would have been better but it's too costly... Perhaps, I can repair one of my old abandoned phone and keep it aside.. just incase inorder not to cut off completely for sometime
Phones are one of the material things that one cannot do without. I cannot even stay a day without my phone. This reminds me of the day that my Samsung note 9 screen broke, i was in so much pain and i replaced the screen that very day even though it cost me an arm because i can't imagine staying without my phone.
I remember how u didn't hesitate to fix Ur Samsung with almost 100k

I must say that person was a very kind hearted a person. In the current time it's very hard to see such kind of people who can gift a smartphone and I think you were lucky to met with that person.
To be honest I am curious to know the name of that person but I believe that person won't like to see you to reveal the name.
