THE ROLE MODEL IN ME❤️
What an interesting topic for this week's edition! Last week, we wrote about the factors we consider before taking a person as our role model, and today, the reverse is the case🤗
Wow, do I possess some traits Worthy of emulation? Of course, I do. I am an imperfect being, striving to live and impact my generation positively. I have not gotten anywhere, but I can see some little progress. I have my bad sides but one can emulate some good traits I possess. The attributes that make me stand out!! Find out! You might want to emulate one or two and I will be honored to be someone's role model ❤️
One of the attributes I possess is RESPECT. Whether you are older than me or I am older than you, I try to give everyone his or her respect. I feel everyone is unique and deserves some respect. I don't look down on people no matter their status. I don't force anyone to do what is not her choice even if I have the authority to command that person except if it's a compulsory issue. I also believe that I can learn anything from my younger ones and there is where humility comes in. Yes, I am humble, I lower myself most times and accommodate everyone around me. I try to make people around me feel at home no matter the age difference, this has helped me learn a lot from my junior ones. Everyone has different endowments and I believe with humility, one can easily learn from each other.
Contentment is another trait I possess. I believe that I am not in competition with anybody. I am content with what I have and I wouldn't do anything stupid just to catch up with others.
Forgiveness is another interesting trait I possess. Yes as humans, we can offend people likewise people offend us, and no matter the gravity of an offense, I try to forgive so easily. I try to make every effort to be at peace 🕊️🕊️ with all people. Times, if I wait for the offender to apologize without him or her coming around, I go myself seeking peace. I will do the apology on the person's behalf, an example is my husband.
I am success driven👌. This is where determination comes in. whatever I set my mind to achieve, I apply determination and commitment to that. I follow my goals until I achieve them, even when excuses set in, I try to remain focused!
The fear of God is not exempted! I am a kingdom addict. I believe that whatever I am today is through God's help and whatever I am doing or set to do can only be possible through the help of God. I don't joke with my Christian life and I also try to influence people around me to love God as I do.
Integrity is another virtue I hold in high esteem. A good name is better than silver or gold.
Sometimes especially on my birthdays, I usually tell my friends to tell me the raw Truth about whom they think I am, sincerely the review hasn't been bad, and I try to make amends for my bad sides.
In summary, some people are looking up to you as their role model, so we must become more self-conscious.

I think respect is really integral, it's attaching value to people and eschewing tolerance no matter who they are. I use to tell people that I can never affiliate to people that we cannot share respect, it's impossible. Good traits there ma'm.

These are some of the traits in me too and I am proud of who I am.
These are attributes one needs to possess to be great and from there, we tend to have role models.. those who are willing to follow and emulate us.
Nice knowing some things about you, especially the forgiveness part.... We need to learn to forgive other people and let go because this is one way to have peace in us.

Self evaluation is very important. It's easy to think you're getting everything right when you are not...
I remember when a dear friend of mine and I had an issue because of a character flaw. I assumed I was perfectly okay until she brought the flaw to my attention. Took time to evaluate and work on it and I can confidently say I'm getting better.

That is why you are my mother🤗. I knew it from the very first day that I didn't fall into a wrong hand.
Respect is something people feel is only for the younger ones. So often times those who are older would deem it a mandate for the young ones to respect them first. Truly, that is how it is supposed to be but in a situation where by we have younger ones who are dull in understanding it won't be wrong to teach them the way by being practical with it. Mom just like you said people are looking up to us to learn a lot of things that we don't know. Our lives are supposed to be examples for others. The best way to teach a person something is to teach with love. We don't have to look down on people.
Respect should be given to everyone equally regardless of status. A big lesson I gained.What a disciplined person one would be if he has someone who is contented as a role model. Many people are in debt today simply because they want to measure up with others. They never are satisfied with what they have, not knowing that someone out there is looking for just a measure of what they have. A contented person doesn't have to live fake because he/she is not in competition with anyone.
Mom all these attributes are the very attributes of a true mother. I am so glad I have you💃.

Being content with what we have is one of the crucial factors in life. It's easy to get carried away with flashy and material things in today's world. But, a person who's content will stand her ground regardless. Great post.
