God protects everything He created, both the righteous and the sinners are being protected by God. God is a merciful God and he wants us to come back to him most especially those who have sin against him. God doesn't hate sinners and he did not have it iind to destroy them, He want sinners to come back to him. This reveals that divine protection often comes in the form of grace, giving sinners time and opportunity to change their ways.

Luke 19:10, He said, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

During the time of Jesus Christ he told us to pray for our enemies even those who have offend us. Jesus Christ accepted sinners in the bible and he also prayed for them. This shows that God’s protection includes spiritual rescue. Instead of abandoning sinners, God reaches out to them, shielding them from total destruction while calling them to repentance.
