Anyone who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ and does his will is referred as a true disciples og Jesus Christ. It is not just about calling yourself a Christian, but about surrendering your life to Jesus daily. A disciple trusts Christ as Lord and Savior and chooses to obey Him even when it is difficult. As Jesus said,

“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” (Luke 9:23).

We should be obedient to the word of Jesus and also practice them, it makes us a true disciple. Faith without obedience is empty. When we obey Christ’s commands, we show that we truly know Him and respect His authority. The Bible says,

“If you love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15).
