What was occupation of Jesus on earth?

The bible told us that the occupation of Jesus Christ while he was on earth was a carpenter. In the new testament, people of Nazareth know Jesus as a carpenter because he was a son of a carpenter. He learnt from his father before he started his apostolic work. A carpenter doesnt work with only woods but he can also build house with stones, and that was the Jewish culture back then.

The Gospel of Mark 6:3 says, “Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary…?”

The verse above clearly tells us that people of Nazareth recognise Jesus as a carpenter who is hard working. Jesus working as a carpenter tells us that no job is too little to do. It means humility and faithfulness is what God values so much.

The Gospel of Matthew 13:55 also calls Him “the carpenter’s son,”
