Trying Legend Food of Banyumas, Sroto Sukaraja Raja Soto Kama H. Suradi
Hi everybody. How are you? Not long ago, I visited Purwokerto, Central Java. This is a business trip as well as a short vacation. There are many that I visited, I will tell you about them later. I'll talk about food first. Soto is a very popular food in Indonesia. There are many areas that have soto. Including Purwokerto.
I want to tell you that Purwokerto is one of the sub-districts in Banyumas. So, the district I visited was called Banyumas. However, the name Purwokerto is very well known. The name of soto in Banyumas is Sroto Sukaraja and the legendary place that sells this soto is Raja Soto Lama H. Suradi. Purwokerto is famous for fried getuk and mendoan. But, soto is a favorite food too.
This place has been selling soto since 1978. It's been selling soto for 40 years. It's different from other soto. What's the difference in soup here? The soto here uses peanut sauce and a mixture of crackers. There are diamonds in it. In fact, quite a few people add mendoan. That's the difference between soto in Banyumas and soto in other places. And this place, we call Soto with Sroto.
I will tell you about this soto place, Raja Soto Lama H. Suradi. The place already has three shops. Of course, this place already has halal, health, and hygiene certification. Oh yes, the soto here has many choices. You can use chicken, beef, mixed, tripe, and tendon tendons. I had Sroto sengkel tendon. The tendon joints used are not too hard. In fact, it's so soft, that it's delicious to eat.
Every day, this place can sell 300 portions of sroto. In fact, on big holidays this place remains open. The service at this place is very fast. Sroto customers at this place are over 50 years old. Those who come are regular customers. There are customers who have been around for decades. that's the news I received.
There is one more information I want to tell you. Two presidents are customers of this place, namely Gusdur and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. In fact, until now one of them is a loyal customer. Reportedly, the owner of this place was deliberately invited by Mr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to make sroto.
In other news, the owner of this sroto is still serving his customers. This place is very spacious. There are pictures of sroto, several interesting quotes, and neatly arranged places. Suitable for enjoying this sroto with friends or family while telling stories. Oh yes, the price of sorts at this place is quite cheap. Only IDR 25,000 per portion. Enak tuh mbak... Sroto Sokaraja is my favorite. It is hard to get the original sroto sokaraja in Bekasi. Only in Banyumas and Purworkerto we can find the original one.
