Visiting Onrust Island, a Historical Island in Indonesia

Hi everybody. How are you? Hopefully this weekend you are fine. This weekend, for me, is quite heavy. For one week I was in the valley. Travel Bandung-Jakarta is quite heavy. I'm pretty tired. This weekend, I slept a lot. Oh yes, I want to tell you about my trip to Onrust Island.

This island is in the Thousand Islands cluster. Oh yes, no residents on this island. This island just became a tourist spot. Maybe, this place is suitable for you to enjoy healing. But. This place has many mysteries.

Oh yes, this place is also a historical tourist spot. If you feel bored on weekends, this place is also suitable for you. Uniquely, this place is always crowded. This island is close to Kelor Island, Cipir, and Bidadari Island. This island is located in Jakarta. If you want to visit this place, you can visit the Marina Pier in the Ancol area or Muara Kamal Harbor. You can use a boat or a boat that is in that place.

But, I used a travel agent to go here. I only pay IDR 100,000 and can go around the three islands. To come to this island, you cannot come alone. You need to invite your friends. So, I used a travel agent. Departure to this island is carried out at 08.00 in the morning. And come home at 05.00 pm. Because of these two hours, the waves at sea are relatively safe.

If you like photography, this place is also suitable for you to take good photos. Many historical buildings are unique and suitable for photo objects. In this place, there is the Keket Tower which was built in the 20th century. If you want to enter this tower, you can pay IDR 5,000. From this tower, you can see the beauty of the sea. In the past, the Keket Tower was a guard post for Dutch colonialism and monitored boats coming to Jakarta.

Second, there is the Museum Plaza. This museum holds items that I think have history. I have discussed this museum in a previous post. In my post, I only discussed it briefly. This Museum Plaza has existed since 1939 and is a doctor's house. It is also a place to check the health of pilgrims from Indonesia.
