We have been without power for more than 24 hours. After the passage of hurricane Ian on Monday night, the country was left without electricity generation due to breakdowns, or that is the information given by the regime.

I need to work, I need to communicate with my family and none of that is possible, because in addition to electricity we also have no mobile data. In the rental where I live they have put a generator for 30 minutes to charge cell phones and a radio, they have also put the Wi-Fi for about 30 minutes to be able to check messages and send some notice to our relatives to let them know that we are well. It doesn't make much sense though, they don't have electricity either.

I try to stay positive, to give my girlfriend support, and try to be as helpful as possible at home. But I'm scared, I could lose my job as a Community Manager because I have no electricity and no internet connection (I work for a foreign company), my boss is very understanding, but still, this whole situation scares me.

I will try to stay positive, last night I made a drawing representing the map of my country illuminated by thousands of candles, today I show them here, as well as some interventions I made to some pictures I took a few days ago, and I thought they were funny. I share them with you and try to make me smile too.

Hope you stay well and enjoying your week, thanks for the support I have been receiving in my donation campaign to help people who have lost everything in Cuba. You guys are amazing. I love you all.
