Endeavor House Ministries...
Some of you may know that roughly eight years ago, I was a hopeless drug addict. God had plans for me however, and I ended up at a place called Endeavor House Ministries and it changed my life, big time. I ended up staying after I graduated, and was the resident manager for a year. I went to school, got my Bachelors degree, got married, and was a very different person than I once was. Throughout the whole time, I stayed active with the ministry...
Trunk or Treat!
One of the events that Endeavor House does every year is a "Trunk or Treat" event for the local community. The ministry is in a low income neighborhood and the kids there do not really have access to much. Endeavor House makes hot dogs, roasts smores, and hands out a LOT of candy during the event. They also have someone, me, playing Christian music, and they hand out invites to Church. It is a great community outreach!
Lots of People...
Through the course of the night the ministry serves roughly four hundred people. That is a lot of kids eating hot dogs who might not have any other food in their homes. I am proud to be affiliated with Endeavor House!
