Listen - You Cannot Keep Up With Everything in Crypto!

Personal Choices...

I know that all of us have our own ways of doing things, and mine, for a long time, has been to attempt to stay on top of, and buy into, as many good crypto projects as I could. The FOMO is real, and that has driven me to be on the go twenty-four seven. Recently, I began to feel some real burnout from it, and I decided to re-evaluate my thinking. I came to the conclusion that I was causing my own burnout by attempting to stay on top of everything going on in the crypto world, and it was time to make a change.

What To Do?

I realized that I had the ways and means of earning crypto daily, simply by posting on Hive, and instead, I had been using the time I could have used for that to chase everything that may, or may not, even pan out in the end. My posts do ok, for the most part, nothing "viral," or really high earning, but overall, I am happy with how they do, but I have had periods of time where I didn't post at all, or at best, posted infrequently, because I was too busy trying to stay "in the know" on everything else. Basically, I had hurt my growth by trying to stay in the loop on too many projects.

Moving Forward...

I began to pare down my Discord channels, after all, why do I need to be in a hundred servers anyway? Half the time, I do not even read my notifications, I just clear them! So my self-argument that I was "staying in the know," was irrelevant. Not really knowing much when I am so busy I can't read them, now am I? I am blessed by the fact that I am basically able to work from home so, I also made myself a schedule for my general day, laying out how much time I am going to devote to various activities, such as Twitter give-a-ways, research, etc. One thing I am going to be sure to do is to post daily to Hive. Sometimes, I am not really sure what to write about, and I do not claim to be some blogging guru. I am just a guy that loves the community here and wants to contribute my little piece. Besides, no matter what I post about, the great thing about Hive is that there is an audience that wants to read it!

So What I am Saying Here is...

Don't burn yourself out! Crypto is here to stay and that is just a fact. The International Monetary Fund and the United Nations have made it very clear that the "New World Order" will be built on the back of the Blockchain. That means that no matter what, crypto will be a daily aspect of our lives going forwards more and more. For me personally, Hive is the best of all of them, not the least reason being that I own my content and no one can censor me here. Does that mean that Hive will moon and we will all be rich? Maybe. But more importantly, we will at the very least still be able to talk to people without a "Jack" or a "Zuck" telling us that we can't, and to me, that is priceless!

As Always, Thank You For Reading!

Yes, absolutely right what you say.
Running after several projects and several activities sometimes do not bring to anything.
Anyway, a small amount of money can be placed in several projects since you do not need to stay updated on every news: just holding and waiting for the price to potentially consolidate

Exactly! That is what I mean when I say invest in good projects that you like, and that is important so you stay interested. The Hodl. Pretty simple. I got $LUNA at less than $4 but I thought it was a cool project. Now I have 25 of them and I am like, "WHOA! I got a good one here!" I feel very much that way about #Hive too. I do with the interfaces were somehow integrated, however. Like the main page that is interactive for all the Hive Projects. There could be windows for like new projects, one for #LEO one for #M4L for example. Like a "Facebook" but for #Hive #APPS. Hopefully, someone in the #Development departments (Which I am definitely not) will see this and say something. As a matter of fact, I am about to post in #Stem right now with this idea and put it out there. Thank you for the interaction that inspired this!

That is great! Having 25 LUNA is not something that will change your life forever, but, you know, they are an interesting amount of money, especially since it represents a 25x on your starting amount.
And yeah, I too hope that Hive will make it great (and make us great as well). this is one of the reason I moved my blogging also here, hoping that my crypto-technical topics will be enjoyed and noticed by the audience!

Ya never know, if it can go from $4 to $100, it can go to $1000, if ya just keep HODling...

I would say, as long as you budget your time well, it's okay to divide your attention among many projects. The key is to not allow yourself to be overwhelmed. For example, if you have already spent your allocated time for the day, then step away from the computer and go do your other activities. The time that you have spent researching and experimenting with other projects will pay off at some point, even if you weren't 100% dedicated to them.

I agree. That is sort of what I realized recently. For a while, it was go go go all the time. That is an aspect of my life though I guess. I wasted a lot of time in my youth, and feel the need to "catch up" I guess.

I simply don't use Discord.

Don't burn yourself out! Crypto is here to stay and that is just a fact.

I have been there twice. Lessons learned and the burnouts are real.

I use it mainly for contacting the devs of projects if I need to now. I don't even open it if not for that really. It really is amazing cause I just feel more peace when I stick to Hive you know? More order...

There will be a time when not only consuming crypto content, but engaging with this technology is going to be so exhausting.

That is why I am involved now, I hope to not be one of those plugged into the matrix to survive, and many will willingly do it.
