Some of you that have read my posts know that I enjoy looking for opportunities to get involved in "Play-To-Earn" blockchain games, especially those with options to own "land." Of course, I own three plots of land in #SplinterLands, and I am waiting patiently for them to drop. I also own a plot in the #UpLift, and one in #DarkCountry as well, but the one that I have truly enjoyed playing ever since I became aware of it, is Prospectors io.

Gold Rush!

If you are not familiar with the Prospectors game, it is based on eighteenth-century American gold mining. The Beta version of the game is #WAX based and is Play-To-Earn. It is still running and you can get started without owning any land, however, recently, the game released the "Grand Land," which is the first "player-owned" world in the game. You can still buy land on the secondary market, and this game gives you a lot of opportunities to earn. You can actually start a business within the game, doing things like blacksmithing, roasting coffee, and even owning a bank! This is not even to mention the resources that are already on your land, that you can mine for profit right away!

The Moral of the Story...

There are a lot of games coming out now, and now that the "Metaverse" is becoming more than just something that a few people know about, looking into games that allow you to own land with inherent value in the land itself, to me, is a great investment decision. Now that Prospectors has dropped its land, the next one I am really excited for is #SplinterLands. The idea of using the land to mint #NFTs that are only able to be minted with land ownership is really going to be a game-changer, in my opinion. Truly, the future for #Blockchain #Gaming is going to be something to witness!
