A cool visit to the art school. | Una visita genial a la escuela de arte.

Gratos saludos tengan todos mis queridos amigos de esta comunida linda de Lifestyle es un gusto para mi saludarlos en este viernes fin de semana, quiero compartir con ustedes la reciente visita que tuve en la facultad de artes de la universidad.

Warm greetings to all my dear friends in this lovely Lifestyle community. It’s a pleasure to greet you on this Friday as the weekend approaches. I’d like to share with you my recent visit to the university’s Faculty of Arts.

La hermosa facultad de artes ubicada justamente en la avenida, el Milagro detrás de la secretaría de cultura esconde, en su interior muchos elementos importantes como lo es, la historia, la cultura y el arte es un sitio propicio donde se reúnen tantas cualidades en su máxima expresión. Este gran espacio no solamente posee una arquitectura o edificación neocolonial, sino, también que esconde gran parte de la historia universitaria, necesaria ya que este espacio fue sede de la reapertura de la Universidad del Zuliaen 1946 sirviendo durante algunos años como está prestigiosa casa de estudio.

The beautiful Faculty of Arts, situated on Avenida El Milagro, just behind the Ministry of Culture, harbours within its walls many important elements, such as history, culture and art; it is an ideal place where so many qualities come together in their finest form. This magnificent space not only boasts neo-colonial architecture and design, but also harbours a significant part of the university’s history a fact of particular relevance given that this site hosted the reopening of the University of Zulia in 1946, serving for several years as this prestigious institution of learning.

Emprendí una larga caminata hasta esta facultad, junto con mi hermano Alcides, caminamos varios kilómetros para poder llegar a ella y también nos encontrábamos un poco perdidos, ya que no encontrábamos en lugar ir aceptó ser más cerca de lo que esperábamos, nos encantó mucho lo lindo que es esta facultad y lo diferente que suele ser a diferencia de las otras facultades de la universidad. A su vez también es una facultad que no posee mucho estudiantes pero había aproximadamente unos 30 estudiantes en ella.

I set off on a long walk to this faculty with my brother Alcides; we walked several kilometres to get there and were feeling a bit lost, as we couldn’t find our way – although it turned out to be closer than we’d expected. We were really impressed by how lovely this faculty is and how different it is from the other faculties at the university. It’s also a faculty that doesn’t have many students, but there were about 30 students there.

En esta facultad tienen una hermosa galería de distintas obras artísticas de los mismos estudiantes, en la cual, podemos encontrar diversos cuadros, pintados o dibujados totalmente a manos originales, así como también otras expresiones artísticas, como lo son obras de arte pintadas o plasmadas en clavos e hilos, así como también, una obra artística que esta era un pantalón dándole bastante creatividad, así como también una escultura de una mujer elaborada con alambre, esta fue la que más me encantó, sin duda alguna que hermoso que puedan dar a conocer el talento de cada uno de sus estudiantes y embellecer este espacio en su entrada.

This faculty has a beautiful gallery featuring various works of art created by the students themselves, where we can find various paintings and drawings, all created entirely by hand, as well as other artistic expressions, such as works of art painted or created using nails and thread, and an artistic piece made from a pair of trousers, which shows great creativity, as well as a sculpture of a woman made from wire – this was the one I loved the most. It is undoubtedly wonderful that they can showcase the talent of each of their students and beautify this space at their entrance.

La factor facultad se encuentra totalmente al aire libre y posee una arquitectura súper diferente al resto, ya que podemos ver que posee unos largos pasillos que estos tiene diversos arcos. A su vez tiene plasmada distintos dibujos totalmente pintados, por sus estudiantes es fascinante que ellos puedan conectar con la naturaleza y al mismo tiempo estudiar las distintas, expresiones artísticas cabe destacar que en esta facultad se estudia, música, artes escénicas y artes visuales.

The faculty building is entirely open-air and features an architectural style that is quite distinct from the rest, as it comprises long corridors adorned with various arches. It is also adorned with a variety of murals painted by the students; it is fascinating that they are able to connect with nature whilst studying different forms of artistic expression. It is worth noting that this faculty offers courses in music, performing arts and visual arts.
