My first Sunday at church at La Milagrosa. | Mi primer domingo en la iglesia de La Milagrosa.

Gratos saludos tengan todos mis queridos amigos de esta linda comunidad, es un placer para mi saludarlos en este lindo miércoles mitad de semana.

Warm greetings to all my dear friends in this lovely community; it’s a pleasure for me to say hello to you all on this lovely Wednesday, halfway through the week.

Normalmente todos los domingos voy a misa ya que soy una persona con mucha fe católica, no me pueden faltar los domingos de encuentro con Dios cuando no puedo hacerlo voy los sábados pero esta vez quise vivir una experiencia totalmente diferente asistiendo a una iglesia que nunca había podido asistir a pesar de que siempre que voy al centro de la ciudad paso por enfrente de la misma, es un iglesia totalmente más majestuosa y hermosa recientemente fue remodelada ya que su estructura estaba en muy mal estado pero ahora se encuentra totalmente cambiada y embellecida.

I usually go to Mass every Sunday as I am a devout Catholic; I can’t miss my Sunday encounters with God. When I can’t make it, I go on Saturdays, but this time I wanted to have a completely different experience by attending a church I’d never been to before, even though I always walk past it whenever I go into the city centre. It is a far more majestic and beautiful church; it was recently refurbished as its structure was in a very poor state, but now it has been completely transformed and made even more beautiful.

Me levanté a las 6:30 de la mañana me aliste y justamente a las 7:30 salí de mi casa tomé un carrito desde la plaza de las banderas y él mismo me dejó justamente en todo frente de la iglesia, estaba un poco preocupada ya que había un tiempo de lluvia bastante fuerte y el clima se encontraba muy nublado pensaba que iba a llover fuertemente, pero por suerte pude ingresar a la iglesia le tomé algunas hermosas fotografías por afuera pero todo el espectáculo se lo lleva a su interior en verdad es una iglesia bastante hermosa, no va muchas personas a esta iglesia pero sin embargo hay personas que hacen vida pastoral dentro de esta iglesia, me sentía totalmente maravillada por asistir a misa por primera vez en esta iglesia y le estaba dando gracias a Dios por esta grandísima oportunidad.

I got up at 6.30 in the morning, got ready, and left my house at 7.30 sharp. I took a minibus from Plaza de las Banderas and the driver dropped me off right in front of the church. I was a bit worried as it had been raining quite heavily and the sky was very overcast; I thought it was going to pour down, but luckily I managed to get into the church. I took some lovely photos of the exterior, but the real spectacle is inside it really is a beautiful church. Not many people go to this church, but there are nevertheless people carrying out pastoral work there. I felt utterly amazed to be attending Mass for the first time in this church and was thanking God for this wonderful opportunity.

Llegué y me senté la iglesia tenía aire acondicionado por lo que se encontraba muy fresca en verdad como llegué 10 minutos antes de la misa, pude esperar tranquilamente mirando cada parte de la iglesia y tomando muchas fotografías la iglesia posee 4 hileras de bancas con un gran pasillo central otros 2 más en sus laterales podemos encontrar grandes ventanales distribuidos a lo largo de la iglesia, esta se encuentran diferentes tipos de santos y de apariciones de las vírgenes ilustrados con muchos colores en los vidrios, me parece totalmente hermoso aparte de todos los detalles que también posee.

I arrived and sat down; the church was air-conditioned, so it was actually very cool. As I’d arrived 10 minutes before Mass, I was able to wait in peace, looking at every part of the church and taking lots of photographs. The church has four rows of pews with a large central aisle and two more on either side. There are large windows running the length of the church, featuring different types of saints and apparitions of the Virgin Mary, illustrated in vivid colours on the stained-glass panes. I find it absolutely beautiful, not to mention all the other details it boasts.

Escuché la bisa y justamente inició a las 8:00 en punto de la mañana y terminó a las 9:00 en punto bastante puntual, no se pasó de la hora la reflexión de la homilia está muy bonita ya que hacía referencia de ir en búsqueda de ese tesoro, nuestro tesoro es Dios, analizando cada uno de los detalles del altar es bastante diferente ya que justamente en el centro del altar se encuentra una puerta que esta conlleva a la sacristía central, se encuentran 2 laterales bastante lindos.

I listened to the Mass, which began at 8.00 am sharp and ended at 9.00 am sharp it was very punctual. it didn’t run over time. The homily’s reflection was very beautiful, as it referred to going in search of that treasure our treasure is God. Looking at each of the details of the altar, it’s quite distinctive, as right in the centre of the altar there is a door leading to the central sacristy, and there are two rather lovely side altars.

Por último fue una grata visita me encantó mucho visitar esta iglesia por primera vez, sin duda alguna volvería de nuevo a escuchar la misa aquí espero que esta publicación haya sido de su interés mis queridos amigos nos vemos en una próxima oportunidad, me despido hasta pronto.

All in all, it was a lovely visit; I really enjoyed visiting this church for the first time. I would certainly come back to attend Mass here again. I hope you’ve found this post interesting, my dear friends. See you next time; I’ll say goodbye for now.
