Gratos saludos tengan todos mis queridos de esta linda comunidad de Lifestyle, en este lindo martes quiero compartirles mi reciente paseo a la linda Calle Carabobo de mi ciudad.

Warm greetings to all my dear friends in this lovely Lifestyle community. On this lovely Tuesday, I’d like to share with you my recent stroll along the beautiful Calle Carabobo in my city.

Justamente estaba visitando mi facultad, ya que estaba pagando un curso de un área que me gusta mucho de retorno agarré el carrito de Veritas si pasé justamente por la calle Carabobo y quise bajarme para visitar un museo que recientemente habían aperturado y me topé con esta linda, calle y empecé a tomar fotografía, ya que tiene una fuerza única para atraparte entre su tradición su grandes colores, y toda la vida que hacen cada una de las personas que ahí viven a pesar de que la mayoría esten abandonadas y en el olvido cada una de las pocas personas que hay residen le dan un toque a especial a esta hermosa calle.

I was actually visiting my university, as I was taking a course in a subject I’m really keen on. On my way back, I grabbed a Veritas trolley; I happened to be passing along Carabobo Street and wanted to get off to visit a museum that had recently opened, and I stumbled upon this lovely street and started taking photos, as it has a unique power to draw you in with its tradition, its vibrant colours, and all the life brought to it by each of the people who live there. Even though most of the buildings are derelict and forgotten, each of the few people who live there adds a special touch to this beautiful street.

Me gusta ver cómo esta calle refleja el ebullicio Marabino, pues podemos ver que en una de sus casitas se encuentran costureras, así como también sastre, se encuentran centros fotográficos lugares artísticos de teatro, así como también muchos restaurantes, en donde se le da vida a la recreación, cafeterías, sitios turísticos, entre otros más es un complemento perfecto caminando por las calles me gusta observar cada una de los detalles pintorescos, que tienen sus casitas, puesto que aparte de regalarnos mucho colores distintos nos regalan unas fachadas auténticas y coloniales únicas en nuestro estado, sin duda alguna esta calle es uno de los mejores patrimonios históricos y culturales que pueden existir en nuestra localidad.

I like seeing how this street reflects the bustling atmosphere of Marabino, as we can see that in one of its little houses there are seamstresses, as well as a tailor; there are photography studios, artistic theatre venues, as well as many restaurants where leisure comes to life, cafés, tourist spots, amongst other things. It’s the perfect complement; whilst walking through the streets, I enjoy observing every one of the picturesque details of these little houses, as, apart from treating us to a wealth of different colours, they offer authentic, colonial façades that are unique in our state. Without a doubt, this street is one of the finest examples of historical and cultural heritage to be found in our town.

Yo caminando por estas calles le pregunté a una de las señoras que si en estas casas vivían personas que me encantarían vivir en una de ellas, ella me dijo pues mi hija para tu consuelo no vive casi nadie deberías de comprarte una casa de estas y vivir aquí y yo pensando entre mí deben ser bastantes costosas debido al gran valor histórico que poseen, particularmente me gusta disfrutar mucho de los de los detalles que posee en nuestra ciudad, a pesar de ser una ciudad llena de mucho trabajo y bastante calurosa, me gusta a través de eso poder observar cada uno de los detalles interesantes que posee como sus emblemáticas casas saladilleras, que son el reflejo de nuestra, historia y patrimonio.

As I was walking through these streets, I asked one of the ladies whether people lived in these houses – I’d love to live in one of them – and she said, ‘Well, my dear, to put your mind at ease, hardly anyone lives here; you should buy one of these houses and live here.’ And I thought to myself, ‘They must be quite expensive because of their great historical value.’ I particularly enjoy taking in all the details our city has to offer; despite it being a city where there’s a lot of work to be done and it’s quite hot, I enjoy being able to observe all the interesting details it has to offer, such as its iconic ‘Saladilleras’ houses, which reflect our history and heritage.

También una de las detalles que a mí me gustó fue ver plasmado, el poema del famoso escritor y poeta Udon Pérez, el creador de nuestro himno regional, podemos ver un poema bastante conocido que hace referencia a nuestra ciudad de Maracaibo, este es lugar actualmente funciona como una cafetería artesanal, también como una,ruta turística en donde varias personas pueden movilizarse y conocer muchas partes emblemáticas de nuestra ciudad, una calle antigua totalmente fantástica e increíble me disfruté mucho este recorrido pero sí es recomendable, si caminas a lo largo de ella para disfrutar de cada uno de sus detalles interesantes te recomiendo que te apliques mucho protector solar porque normalmente el sol es muy fuerte.

Another detail I particularly liked was seeing the poem by the famous writer and poet Udon Pérez the author of our regional anthem displayed here; it’s a well known poem that refers to our city of Maracaibo. This place currently serves as an artisanal café, as well as a tourist route where visitors can explore and discover many of our city’s iconic landmarks. It’s a truly fantastic and incredible old street; I thoroughly enjoyed this walk, but I would advise that if you walk along it to take in all its interesting details, you should apply plenty of sun cream as the sun is usually very strong.
