Salí a una salida especial apreciando la gran belleza de mi ciudad de Maracaibo, me gusta apreciar lo que muchos en este lugar no le gusta hacer mi objetivo en mente era fotografiar el interior del Convento de San Francisco de Asís de la Plaza Baralt, puesto que esa es una de las iglesias con mayor antiguedad de la ciudad de Maracaibo y que posee bastante historia, es increíble como comtemplando la historia puedo conocer todo desde un punto mas relevante trasladandome al pasado puesto que estas edificaciones de la Plaza Baralt es lo que reflejan, mucha antiguedad y gente hermosa que trabaja arduamente por todo lo que sueña.

I went on a special outing appreciating the great beauty of my city of Maracaibo, I like to appreciate what many in this place do not like to do my goal in mind was to photograph the interior of the Convent of San Francisco de Asis of the Plaza Baralt, since that is one of the oldest churches in the city of Maracaibo and has a lot of history, It is incredible how contemplating the history I can know everything from a more relevant point moving me to the past since these buildings of the Plaza Baralt is what they reflect, a lot of antiquity and beautiful people who work hard for everything they dream.

Inicie justamente mi visita bien temprano por la mañana, me desperte, desayune, como también me vesti y dispuse agarrar el trafico una vans del silencio la cual se demoro aproximadamente unos 20 minutos en poder llegar me resulto raro, puesto que normalmente no se tardan esta vez quise hacer el turismo totalmente acompañada por mi mejor amigo así aprovechamos de hablar bastante ya que desde hace rato no habiamos tenido la oportunidad de poder salir, conversar y hacer algo diferente, mientras la vans iba pudimos llegar a la plaza Baralt esperando que pudieran abrir la Iglesia pero esto nunca paso.

I started my visit very early in the morning, I woke up, I had breakfast, I got dressed and I decided to take a silent van which took about 20 minutes to arrive, I found it strange, since normally they do not take long, this time I wanted to do tourism totally accompanied by my best friend so we took the opportunity to talk a lot since we had not had the opportunity to go out, talk and do something different, while the van was going we could get to the Baralt square waiting for them to open the church but this never happened.

Nos sentamos a conversar justamente en frente de los Atlantes que estas son dos enormes esculturas que pesan aproximadamente 2 toneladas cada uno y que fueron traídos desde Italia, siempre me han encantado el arte que estas dos esculturas puedan expresar, ya que apesar de que esta edificación fue totalmente abandonada, en este lugar funcionaba una farmacia y el primer rascacielos de la ciudad de Maracaibo, ellos forman parte del patrimonio Zuliano.

We sat down to talk right in front of the Atlantes which are two huge sculptures that weigh approximately 2 tons each and were brought from Italy, I have always loved the art that these two sculptures can express, because despite the fact that this building was totally abandoned, in this place there was a pharmacy and the first skyscraper of the city of Maracaibo, they are part of the Zulian patrimony.

Justamente en la plaza Baralt estan varias edificaciones con gran historia, pero particularmente una de la mas bellas que posee es el Convento San Francisco de Asís o Iglesia, este es una hermosa Iglesia anteriormente estaban las ordenes de los sacerdotes Franciscanos, pero en la actualidad se encuentra prácticamente abandonado y esto suele ser bastante triste por que es un lugar de gran incidencia historica para todos nosotros los Marabinos, el convento sólo es abierto los sábados a las 9:30 y las 10:00am celebran la Santa Misa.

Just in the Plaza Baralt are several buildings with great history, but particularly one of the most beautiful that has is the San Francisco de Asis Convent or Church, this is a beautiful church formerly were the orders of the Franciscan priests, but today is practically abandoned and this is usually quite sad because it is a place of great historical significance for all of us Marabinos, the convent is only open on Saturdays at 9:30 and 10:00 am celebrate Mass.

Por último justamente en frente de la Iglesia se encuentra la estatua de Rafael María Baralt quien fue un prestigioso historiador y escritor Venezolano quien tuvo un papel importante en la real academia española, es por eso que esta Plaza posee su nombre y busca rendir un tributo especial a este hombre, me encanto este paseo fue bastante especial y bonito, distraerme poder comtemplar la belleza de mi ciudad atraves d la historia realmente impresionante.

Finally just in front of the church is the statue of Rafael Maria Baralt who was a prestigious Venezuelan historian and writer who played an important role in the Spanish Royal Academy, that is why this square is named after him and seeks to pay a special tribute to this man, I loved this walk was quite special and nice, distract me to contemplate the beauty of my city through the history really impressive.
