Luring Hostiles With Fire || AC Origins

https://play.3speak.tv/embed?v=noomer/iavq7uke

Sniping soldiers on a passing vessel, I then set a watchtower guard on fire, who accidentally detonated a trapped brazier. After hiding to clear the alarm, I poisoned a corpse and used fire arrows to lure another hostile, but a misjudged leap while escaping an incoming guard resulted in a fatal fall.

When the big vessel was on the move, I shot some soldiers on it with some arrows. And they tried to shoot back, but the vessel didn't stop for them to fight me, watching the large wooden ship glide steadily down the river current.

Then I noticed a soldier from this camp climbed up on that watchtower, and I just shot him with a fire arrow and stopped back to watch him burn.

But that soldier didn't die. Instead, he was running toward my position. So I changed my location toward that watchtower, while that soldier tried to lit the brazier that I trapped already, and he got exploded along with the brazier, sending a massive shockwave through the camp.

Now that the entire camp started looking around for me, I just escaped and hid outside the camp, when one of the enemies was on my trail.

I returned to the tower where the last soldier got blown up, and after getting the loot, I poisoned the soldier, as I had a plan in my mind, applying the toxic cloud to the fallen body to create a hidden hazard.

This enemy, who was looking around for me and chased me last time, was coming back to the camp. And I shot him with a fire arrow, and I returned to the brazier tower, hoping the enemy will follow me there and get some damage from the poison.

He climbed up on that watchtower instead, so I shot him with fire arrows, and I waited for him to come for me. But I just couldn't lure him on top of this tower, so he would get some damage from the poison.

He started looking on the backside for me instead, so I started shooting him with fire arrows, and I sat back to watch him burning up, the fire steadily chipping away at his remaining health pool.

Another soldier climbed up the tower as he saw me from afar. And while I was trying to climb down to escape him, I mistakenly jumped off the tower. And I already had a good damage from an arrow, so I couldn't survive the fall.

I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.

The screenshots are taken by me personally from my gameplay and I borrowed the game's logo from DevianArt.

Setting up the poison cloud on the dead body was such a big brain move, shame the NPC decided to be smart and ignore it. But the brazier trap worked perfectly, I see.

Yeah, it is a shame the AI decided to have an actual brain for once and completely ruin my moment.

Your gameplay throughout the entire post was really enjoyable to watch. Taking down the enemies with fire arrows showed great skill. It was truly disappointing to see you die at the end. better luck next time :)

That guard really refused to follow the script you tried to write, by climbing the tower instead of walking into the poison trap like he was supposed to. The absolute panic when that other soldier spotted the position from afar and started climbing up the tower was too real.

That guard really completely ruined my perfectly planned sequence.

After watching the whole gameplay, I realized you're really good at archery. Whenever I confidently try to shoot an arrow it somehow misses the enemy's head and hits the ground instead and then it's game over for me. 😅 But even though dying at the end is frustrating it's not a big deal. That's just how games go sometimes.

That means a lot, thank you. Trust me, I have had my fair share of arrows hitting the dirt instead of the target.

Those repeated fire arrows from you really kept the pressure on the enemy. It was satisfying watching them burn and die.

I honestly love putting on the pressure with fire arrows.
