After a chaotic boat escape resulted in accidental civilian casualties, I returned to deliver the Golden Sobeks to the priest. When the corrupt priest struck the boy again and insulted Bayek, a fight broke out. After comforting the young boy, I tracked down the fleeing priest and executed him.

Leaping off the large vessel, I commandeered a small civilian boat to make my escape. While glancing back at hostiles firing arrows from the deck, I accidentally crashed into a larger vessel, causing the innocent man's boat to sink into the lake.

Feeling terrible for the destruction, I quickly boarded a smaller enemy craft to get away. I attempted to pull the stranded civilian onto my boat to save him, but accidentally struck him during the navigation, and he died instantly.

To make matters worse, the archers on the large vessel rained down fire arrows, setting my new boat ablaze. I managed to steer the burning craft toward the shore just as it sank beneath the surface.

Sprinting back toward the village, I found the corrupt Sobek priest still relentlessly beating the young boy. Bayek stepped forward and handed over the two Golden Sobek statues, proving the boy had not stolen them.

Rather than showing gratitude, the priest greedily accepted the gold, struck the boy once more with one of the statues, and hurled insults at Bayek, telling him to return to his desert hole.

I stepped in to defend the boy. As I engaged two heavy guards stationed nearby, the cowardly priest took off running into the crowded streets. While dealing with the soldiers, I temporarily lost sight of the fleeing priest.

I found the priest but his soldiers blocked my way and when I was trying to use alternative paths to get to him, I lost him again.

Deciding to prioritize the victim's safety first, I returned to the young boy. The boy worried that the temple would never take him back. Bayek reassured him, telling him he could either return the gold to the temple himself or keep it to support his family, the choice was now his.

With the quest officially completed, one of the heavy guards walked back toward us. Even though the soldier had stopped attacking due to the mission ending, I executed him with a quick assassination to settle the score.

Turning my attention back to the corrupt priest, I searched the surrounding area and spotted him standing near a walkway, no longer running.

Aiming my bow, I loosed a fire arrow straight into his head, dropping him instantly in a burst of flames. The cruel man had met his end, and justice was finally served.
I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.

The screenshots are taken by me personally from my gameplay and I borrowed the game's logo from DevianArt.
The priest was really cruel to the poor boy. I liked how Bayek stood up for him instead of ignoring the situation. The final punishment for the priest also felt well deserved.
That priest really looked at Bayek after getting his precious statues back and thought insulting him was a good survival strategy. Perfect justice delivered for him.
I felt bad for the kid the whole time, especially after the priest hit him again even after Bayek had proven the gold wasn't stolen. Justice was definitely served here.
