Todos seguían conversando y comprendieron que la decisión más difícil también era la única que les permitía mantener vivo todo lo que habían construido. En ese mismo momento tenían mucho trabajo por hacer y por eso tenían que aprovechar a Daniel, donde se colocó frente a la consola de producción y comenzó a trabajar con una energía que emocionó a todos. Michelle couldn’t hold back her tears, so Richard walked over and hugged her tightly; Lucas hugged her too and said, “When you come back, this album will still be waiting for you.” — Daniel took a deep breath as he looked around the studio one last time, picked up his suitcase, and walked out, but in a low voice he said, “No matter what happens, finish this album.” Daniel got into a car that took him straight to the airport, and in that moment he realized he was leaving an indelible mark on those first five songs—and that, no matter the distance, he would always remain a part of the story of the band 17.
