Once again, I bring greetings to you lovely Hive family, and I trust you are having a great time here. Remain blessed as you go read through my entry for this contest.

I welcome you to my entry on the 59th (01) week of the Hive Learner's featured post, where I would be sharing my most preferred age if I got the opportunity to turn back the hands of time.

Would I Reduce My Age If Given The Opportunity?

This question reminds me about a question my teacher asked us during the first year of our schooling in the higher institution.

He asked us "if we had known the things we know now two years ago, would our result be better"? And surprising enough everybody was saying their result would have been better if they knew what they know two years ago.

The lecturer then told us that even at this early stage of our lives we had already gotten regrets. This was a lesson that stock to me, because I then realized that regret is part of the journey.

So if I am given the opportunity to reduce my age, I would agree to go back and make some amendments to my life, especially to my childhood life because that is where the whole transformation begins.

What I Would Use My Younger Age To Do After Reducing It

When I was younger, I taught going to school and studying very hard is key to becoming rich and famous, but in reality our skills is what makes us who we are when we are older.

With the free times and less responsibilities, I would show more enthusiasm to crypto related concepts, from blockchain technological innovations to cryptocurrency market ecosystem.

I would explore more on skills that would profit and make me better in the nearest future. I would easily take risks and make mistakes without the fear of a massive consequence.

I would develop the energy I wish to portray when get older, which includes better communication and confidence in front of a good multitude of people.

Many cases of stage frights and inability to speak in public places are as a result of not practicing while we were younger. In some cases, parents are the causes of their children being stage fright and lack of confidence, because they would want to control and limit their children to certain tasks by and experiences.

If I were to go back to being younger, I would take some personal decisions on my own too, forgetting the ideas and control of my parents, because they might be equally wrong in some aspect of life.

I would equally build a healthy friend circle, which would mean going closer to like minded individuals like me, seeking to achieve greater goals.

So far in my life, I have come to realize that our current lives are reflections of the decisions and lifestyles we lived while growing up. I won't procrastinate and think that the main version of my life would start at 18. I would build the man I want to become while I am still a boy.

Conclusion

Despite wishing I could go back to my younger age, I still appreciate the level I currently am, and I thank God for his guidance all along.

I think I have got the knowledge and experience to build on my financial life, and I have the love of family and a few good friends to comfort me emotionally.

In the end, we just need to become better than our current self. I have equally realized that it's not to late to make things right, and become the legend you wish to see.

Thanks for your time here.
