The Advice That Changed My Perspective On Life

I welcome you to my entry on the 57th (02) week of the Hive Learner's featured post, where I would be sharing and telling us about the most powerful advice I have ever received from anyone.

We all have at one point or the other in our lives needed a little guidance and inspirational support from family and friends. Words are like fuel to our minds, as they help shape us into becoming better beings.

So follow my entry as I share this with you all.

Whether it’s a friend, family member, teacher, or mentor, the wisdom of someone else can be incredibly powerful in guiding us on our paths.

Over the years, I have received very important and powerful words of advice, but the most important to me is that "If I don't build my dream, someone else will hire me to help them build theirs."

This is a powerful reminder that we all should take to heart, as this has changed my general perspective on success in life. I usually see it come to play in reality, as many people seem to be more comfortable working for others and forgetting their own dreams behind.

We all have this unique set of skills, experiences and knowledge. It can be utilized to help others achieve their goals and dreams. And I have been made to understand that my talents go to waste by not taking action and striving to achieve my own goals.

I know that when I take the initiative and actively pursue my dreams, it won't only give me a sense of purpose and accomplishment, but can also open doors for other opportunities.

I have equally observed that whenever I commit myself to achieve something great, it motivates and inspires those around me to do the same. And when we choose to use our resources to make an impact on the world, we are creating a better future for ourselves and others.

So I was advised to never let my dreams die in the vine, instead, I should take steps to make them happen, even if it means getting help from someone else.

Whether it's hiring a mentor or asking a friend for advice, taking these steps would help us reach our goals faster. And in the end, we would be more satisfied knowing we have achieved something special for ourselves.

My Dad was the first person to tell me about this concept of building my dreams, or else someone else would use me to build theirs. He was always telling me stories from his experience of how he had helped others build their dreams.

This concept of building my own dreams has stuck in my head, and I can see myself working towards achieving my own dreams.

Dad would always tell me " Son, every man was created for a purpose, and the most important day of your life is the day you discover your purpose."

I have been made to understand that if we work hard and smart, we could achieve anything. I have decided to work smartly and hard to focus on my dreams and be the best version of myself.

This advice has helped me throughout my journey in life, and I can confidently recommend this advice to any and everyone. Having this advice at the back of your mind would make you improve your lifestyle significantly.

I could remember one time in my life when I worked as a delivery man for a company. It was a work that took almost my whole day, meaning I barely had good time for myself.

The pay was not very impressive, as I couldn't even save any money from the job I was doing. It then dawned on me that I was helping someone else pursue his dream.

I resigned from that job and started seeking ways to become an independent entrepreneur. As faith would have it, am currently doing great, as I could see myself growing to the height I wish to be in the nearest future.

It's often hard to find the answers we seek, but sometimes the best advice comes from the people around us. We all have moments in our lives when we receive advice that has the potential to shape our future.
