I hope you are doing great! And enjoying this last month of the year, hopefully this Christmas will come with many surprises!
In today's post I want to show you a practice I did this Sunday, resting from a university event that kept me very busy these last weeks, I'm very happy to have some free time to continue practicing! And this was the result!

¡En el post de hoy les quiero mostrar una práctica que realice este domingo, descansando de un evento de la universidad que me tuvo muy ocupado estas últimas semanas!, me alegra mucho tener algo de tiempo libre para seguir dedicándolo a practicar! ¡Y este fue el resultado!
I set out to practice more the faces, and I got on Pinterest these references that are always popular!, I have seen them being used by many artists, and I understand them perfectly!, they are very striking portraits!, you can click the link and lose yourself for hours, admiring such striking portraits!
¡Me propuse a practicar más los rostros, y conseguí en Pinterest estas referencias que son siempre populares!, las he visto ser usadas por muchos artistas, y los entiendo perfectamente!, son retratos muy llamativos!, puedes clicar el link y perderte horas, admirando tan llamativos retratos!
Process
I started with the lines and then I placed the colors with a pastel palette, but with cold tones, using the photo as a reference, but I changed certain things, for example the hair, which I loosened it a little, so it would have a more relaxed look, and the flowers I changed them, I proposed to place some more too, to fill the portrait and that's when it occurred to me, to practice a more interesting style!
Proceso
¡Comencé con las líneas y luego ubique los colores con una paleta, pastel, pero con tonos fríos, usando de referencia, la foto, pero cambié ciertas cositas, como por ejemplo el pelo, que lo solté un poco, para que tuviera un look más relajado, y las flores las cambie, me propuse a colocar algunas de más también, para llenar el retrato y fue cuando se me ocurrió, practicar un estilo más interesante!
Although it was not my first intention, seeing the drawing I was doing, I imagined how this portrait would look in a Deco or noveau style, I know very little about these styles, I know that they come from the modernist era, and the influences of Baroque and Rococo are noticeable! If you do not know much! You can just google, or search on Pinterest "art Noveau" or "Art Deco" and in a few seconds you can learn to recognize them! Since they are very striking, for all the details it has!

¡Aunque no era mi primera intención, viendo el dibujo que iba haciendo, me imagine como quedaría este retrato en un estilo Deco o noveau, conozco muy poco estos estilos, sé que provienen de la época modernista, y se notan las influencias del Barroco y el Rococo!, si no conoces mucho! ¡Puedes solamente googlear, o buscar en Pinterest "art Noveau" o "Art Deco" y en pocos segundos podrás aprender a reconocerlos! ¡Ya que son muy llamativos, por todos los detalles que dispone!Ejemplos:
So with this idea of trying to turn this portrait into art noveau, I tried to add elements that seemed appropriate, I repeat, I do not know much about the subject, and the truth is that this exercise helped me a lot to develop that creative part!
¡Así que con esa idea de tratar de convertir este retrato en arte noveau, intente agregar elementos, que me parecieron apropiados!, repito, que no sé mucho sobre el tema, y la verdad este ejercicio me sirvió mucho para desarrollar esa parte creativa!

The shading process, was as usual, lately I'm doing these two processes in only one layer, so I have to try harder not to make a mistake, u,u

For the "Noveau - Deco" version I used elements from Freepik, I had planned to draw them, but the truth is, I thought it would take too much time that I don't have, plus I'm just getting my feet wet on the subject for now, seeing these works really makes you admire the physical work behind it, beyond the design, to have generated all that quality and quantity of details, it's very impressive!
¡Para la versión "Noveau - Deco" use elementos de Freepik, había planteado dibujarlos, pero la verdad, me pareció que tomaría mucho tiempo del que no dispongo, además que por ahora estoy solo mojándome los pies en el tema!, ver estas obras de verdad te hace admirar el trabajo físico que hay detrás de ello, más allá del diseño, el haber generado toda esa calidad y cantidad de detalles, es muy impresionante!
This would be the final result, I quite liked my initial portrait practice, I was able to achieve a characterization, using the reference as a starting point!
¡Este sería el resultado final, me gusto bastante mi práctica inicial, de retrato, pude lograr una caracterización, usando la referencia como punto de inicio!

I really like both of them, and I found this practice quite amusing, forcing me to find out more about things I didn't know about!
