Hello everyone, happy new week.

In this drawing, i explored balance between light and shadow to bring out the mood of calmness. The relaxed pose, the flowing hair and the foreshortening of the body all work together to create depth and realism.

I like how you played with the shadows, it really gives the drawing so much depth. We actually have an upcoming activity in our subject that’s also about shading, and honestly I’m finding it kinda hard 😅
