The Fear of my Mathematics teacher : A teacher i can't forget easily.

‎My neighbor was talking this evening and complaining about teachers not doing what they are supposed to do and not really checking or taking note of each child one by one. I smiled , asked her to tell me the number of pupils in the class that she was complaining about , she said 40 something to 50. I smiled, asked him how many teachers in that class she said , one . I told her and the other neighbor of mine, you have four kids, just four and you can't control them at home to be steady, and you are blaming a teacher who is handling about 50 students alone plus other responsibilities.

‎I asked her again, how was discipline during your days in school. She gave an account how teachers were always giving them punishment when they were wrong and that really helped them. I said to her,but that's not obtainable again these days.

‎That made me remember my mathematics teacher back in secondary school, the man a true disciplinarian. When he is on duty to check those who are loitering around the school, you dare not step outside without any reasonable reason. I remember the day I went to ease myself and he got me outside and asked me to kneel down right there, no explanation.

‎It was because of the man that I left home by 4am to school to do morning duty think it was 6am. Because we were always scared of the flogging. After the morning duty , you write your name on a list and keep for him. When he comes for checking and your name is not on the list. Then you might not like yourself throughout that day. The fear of Mr. Edemeka my Mathes teacher was the beginning of wisdom. And all those discipline were helpful to us.

But fuuny enough, i am now working together with te maths teacher, not asa student again, but as a colleague

You always have those kind of teachers in a school. And somehow, it's the mathematics teachers. Haha.
